For wisdom is better than rubies and all the things that may be desired are not compared to it – Proverbs 8:11

Wisdom is portrayed as a woman who guides us and make us succeed. Wisdom was present at the creation and works with the Creator. Wisdom should affect every aspect of our entire lives. Wisdom is also seen as Christ, who is our wisdom. Wisdom comes from God, and if we follow His directions rather than our intuition, we will never be mislead in the wrong direction.

Sometimes as you converse and listen to people, you will hear them say “I feel this way…” or, “I feel like this is about to happen”, this is wisdom nudging and trying to direct them. Wisdom will give you discernment about what is happening in your surroundings that you cannot see with the natural eye,  and will give you the understanding in how to handle the matter.

Wisdom will give you what job to take, who and who not to marry; wisdom will give you what is going on behind the scenes they aren’t communicating to you. Wisdom is greater than silver and gold as well as rubies.
