Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk – Acts 3: 6.

A man lamed from birth was carried daily to the gate of the temple that was called Beautiful to ask alms of those who entered the temple. As he waited for those who entered the temple to bless him, he came in contact with two men full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit to release him from his bondage.This man was born disable from birth. According to the Bible, he was older than forty-years old before he received his healing. God knew from the time he was born, the day and time he was going to be healed. God was very much aware of his disability, but God had a time frame for his deliverance. Many times Christians lose faith after seeking God for a certain length of time and their prayers haven’t been answered. Notice, the man came to the temple daily, although he couldn’t walk, he had someone to bring him daily to the temple, because he knew that’s where he was going to receive help.

The man could have looked for help other than the temple, but he chose to go where the people of God would be. When Peter and John looked at the man and discerned he needed help, they didn’t charge him to receive what God had for him. So many times people who are in need of healing, they are charged by cunning ministers asking for money,  influencing them, if they have faith, if they give to the ministry, they will receive healing or their business will prosper.  God has never placed a price tag to heal or deliver anyone. Money can’t purchase healing neither can it give anyone a peace of mind when they have placed their faith in someone or something other than God.

A quick fix is not the answer when it comes to the things that pertain to God. God has never instructed the believer to place their confidence and trust in man. Although God uses people who will yield themselves as vessels to be used by God; we should never place our trust in their ability, but the Spirit of God.  There are times God will instruct us to give a certain amount, but He never instructs us to give money for healing. If that was the case, everyone with money could purchase their healing and the poor would receive nothing.

Many television evangelists, prophets, and pastors are taking advantage of the people of God and they use the Bible to do it. This is why we need to know the Bible and know the voice of God when He’s speaking to us and who He’s speaking through. A relationship with the Father would eliminate being taken advantage of. Those who have a relationship with Him know His voice, know His Spirit, and know the voice and spirit of Satan. In order to receive from God, we have to put ourselves in the position to receive from Him and is willing to be content with whatever His desire is for us.

It will no longer be our will and wishes, but His will be done in us and through us. His will is for us to prosper and to be in health, but He wants our soul to prosper. When our soul is prospering,  our mind, will, and body is subject to Him and His Word. God doesn’t charge anyone for the blessings He bestows upon them, all He is asking for, that we will submit ourselves to Him and be submissive to His Word. Everyone don’t receiving healing and no one knows the mind of God why He may heal one and not another, but we do know He does not love one more than the other.

Jesus came to save the lost, He came to bring freedom in the heart, mind, soul and spirit. He paid the price for our freedom, all one has to do is accept and receive salvation, but in order to grow spiritually one has to apply themselves to learn of God and His Word. The Bible is His instruction manual for the believer, no matter how many times you read His Word, He will give a deeper understanding and revelation of His Word.  Salvation, brings, peace, comfort, provision, protection, love, security, and it’s free. He also added prayer from the Son to the Father for us, having someone praying for us knowing that the Father will answer the prayer. It’s good when you know you have someone praying for you, but its even better when you know the person praying for you; prayers will be accepted and answered!

People pay money to get their future told so they think, but when your life is in the hand of Jesus, you don’t have to pay anyone to tell you a lie, read the Bible, and it will tell you what to expect and to receive in your life. Life with Jesus brings both natural and spiritual blessings and a home full of joy and peace for eternity when we depart from this life, and it free through Jesus!
