Life Is Like A Maze

Therefore if any man be in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature (creation): old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new – 2nd Corinthians 5:17.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s instructions by eating the forbidden fruit, they gave authority to Satan, which caused everyone to be born into a world of sin. Jesus came into the world to set the captive free. Life is like a maze, and we’re trying to find our way through it, and this is why many find themselves in places and with people they shouldn’t be with because what we think is right is actually wrong because the light of the Word of God hasn’t penetrated our hearts.

Even with the best intentions, if the Word of God hasn’t been engraved in our hearts, we will continue to live a life that isn’t pleasing to God. Although God loves us, He doesn’t love sin, and that was the purpose of Jesus dying for our sins so that we can live a life without practicing sins.

There is no way we can come into the presence of Jesus and stay the same. When Jesus makes residents in our physical bodies, we see and think differently.  We’re checking our thoughts to make sure they are in line with the Word of God. We’re making sure we aren’t looking at things that will dim our spiritual vision.

If we’ve been hurt, we’re asking God to give us the strength to forgive the individual and pray for the person that hurt us.  In order for this to come about, Jesus must be residing in our hearts; it’s not just about us believing He’s the Son of God, but have we to take Him as our Lord and Savior, and if we believe His Word, then will submit to His Word.

In this life, we will go through many things that we may not understand, but it’s not because Jesus has forgotten us or has left us. We must always keep in mind we have an adversary, and his goal is to influence us to return to the things of the world; this is why we must discern what spirit is speaking (Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world – 1st John 4:1). When Jesus takes residents in our spirit, our old way of reacting and thinking will be that of our Savior. Life is like a maze, but if we allow Jesus to direct our steps, we will not be misled – The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way – Psalm 37:23).

Many are professing to be Christians, but their lifestyle is opposite of that of a disciple. A disciple is one that believes in the teaching of Jesus Christ, and he or she will submit themselves according to what the Word of God has instructed us to live by.

Many worship God on Sunday and Monday through Saturday they live as nonbelievers, one that has not accepted salvation.  When one tries to serve God and Satan, it brings confusion to their mind as well as their spirit.

It’s just like when someone is married if there is infidelity in the marriage, one will always be neglected while the other one is always receiving affection and admiration; spiritually, if one is trying to serve God and Satan, Satan will receive the worship and servitude, and God will only be worshiped on Sunday.

God knows our beginning and ending and everything in between; He’s aware when we have religion and when there’s true Christianity.  As a believer, we don’t have to fear or worry about anything that’s happening in our lives; God watches over us twenty-four hours a day.

Everything that comes to disturb us has been allowed by God to direct us back to Him or take us deeper into the Spirit. Nothing takes God by surprise; we can trust Him, we can depend on Him, and He’s faithful! Life does not have to be as difficult as a maze when we allow God to direct our steps through life’s maze.
