The Body of Christ
What know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own – 1st Corinthians 6:19
There is a difference from those who believe and those that have been born of the Spirit of God. Many believe in God, many believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but when they hear the word of God they reject it because they want to stay in their mess. It’s not so much people don’t believe, they just don’t want to submit their life as the word of God has instructed.
In order for a person to be set free, they have to have a desire to be set free. God will never go over our will, and it’s not our position to try to change people. Our duty as Christians is to pray for them until Christ is formed in them. Our bodies don’t belong to us, we were bought with a price, it’s not ours and we can’t do it our way. When we’re willing to submit ourselves to the word of God, no matter how long one may have been bound, they can be set free. As Christians, we must conform ourselves to the word of God, and allow Him to make a change in us and in others. When we or someone we know isn’t living according to the word of God, pray until we see a manifestation of the prayer being answered in us and in others.
