(Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

Every since Satan was kicked out of Heaven with a third of Heaven’s angels following him, Satan has been the adversary of God and to mankind. Satan and his imps influence people to do what they do, but God has given instructions for our thoughts  If we think of the things God has instructed us to think we wouldn’t allow Satan to plant thoughts in our mind.Before a sin is carried out, it first comes to the mind, once it comes to the mind, the individual begin to think on it then it becomes an imagination, once it becomes an imagination the individual goes forth to carry out the plan that first started in the thought. Satan has access to our soul, but not our spirit. The soul is our mind, will, and emotions. Satan will plant seeds if we allow him, and once a seed is planted it reproduces. Many actions that are carried out is from the ungodly influence of Satan, because of Christians and none-Christians, having no idea of Satan’s tactics and schemes, they are bound and in chains of ungodly actions and behaviors. Satan is real (And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it (Job 1:7).

Satan is not dressed in a red suit, with a pitchfork and horns. He comes in different forms, such as thought, he influences our five senses: sight, touch, taste, smell or hearing.  God has instructed us; touch not, taste not, handle not (Colossians 3:21) handle not indicates to manipulate, by implication is to injury. How many times have individuals been hurt because of what someone has said about them whether it was true or false? Many people have been destroyed emotionally because they were manipulated by someone pretending to have their best interest at heart but the person didn’t care whether or not the person would be harmed they were only trying to get what they wanted.

Satan will bring people into your life to bring stumbling blocks in your spiritual walk, everyone that comes into your life has not been sent by God. Every door of employment has been opened wasn’t opened by God, but by Satan to bring confusion in your faith. When you have to do and say things that are contrary to the Word of God, you should know, God didn’t open the door. If you have to scheme and tear someone’s character down in order to be promoted you are being BUSY!

Satan has destroyed God’s people with the influence of what they watch on television. He has destroyed marriages and homes because the spouse was lusting after someone other than their spouse. Satan has made sin look as though it’s ok and many Christians are falling and drowned by sin because they saw it on television, they heard it and they think;  if it’s not hurting anyone, then it’s ok, but it’s not ok when it has separated you from God. Satan has made Christians think if they’re not committing sexual sins, stealing, lying and cheating their ok, but if you are over-eating, jealousy, always angry, envy; whatever the case may be, if it’s an excess and you can’t control it, then it’s sin.

Satan will use a Christian the same way he will use a unbeliever if we’re not watchful and prayerful for the Holy Spirit to give us discernment of Satan tricks and schemes. Christians aren’t exempt from Satan’s influences.  People who are always busy working for the Lord, but never have the time to spend praying, fellowshipping with the Lord is being under Satan yoke! If Satan can’t keep you busy in sin, he will keep you busy in what you think is working for the Lord. One should never get so busy they don’t have time to spend with the Lord.  It is He that enables us to win souls. It is He that enables us to counsel and minister. It is He that enables the spiritual gifts to manifest through us, we’re the vessel, but He is the Giver of the gifts.

Never think Satan will inform you how he’s going to operate to make you get out of the will of God. Don’t think because something happens, it’s God will for it to happen.  For example, God’s desire is for every person to receive His salvation, His desire is for no man to perish, but He also gave us a choice who we will serve. Everything that happens in our lives is not according to God’s desire for us, but because we weren’t in-tune with the Spirit of God, we miss what God had for us. Satan has people thinking everything that happens is God’s will, but it’s not, read the Bible and you will see examples of things happen, and it was not God’s will.

When God created Adam and Eve it was God’s will they lived in the Garden of Eden and follow His instructions. When the prophet Jeremiah gave instructions to King Zedekiah to submit to King Nebuchadnezzar and go to the city of Babylon, the city wouldn’t be burned, he and his house would live. Jeremiah instructed King Zedekiah if he didn’t go with the King of Babylon, the city would be burned, the people would be captured and Zedekiah would be bound with chains and taken to Babylon. Because King Zedekiah didn’t follow the instruction given Him by God, Zedekiah sons were murdered in front of him; King Zedekiah was blinded and taken in chains to Babylon (Jeremiah 39:17-23, 39:4-6-7).

As Christians, we have to stay prayerful in order to hear the voice of the Lord’s instructions. Be careful praying prayers you read in books. Some of these prayers are not in line with the Word of God. God watches over His Word, not something someone wrote and we’re praying it. The Holy Spirit will take you into warfare prayer when the time is needed. I’m not saying all prayer manuals are in error, but you should make sure what you’re praying is lining up with scripture.

Satan has been allowed to attack Christians through quoting scriptures. As Christians, we should give our tithes and offerings with a cheerful heart; thanking God He has blessed us to be a blessing, but when Ministers uses the scripture and curses the people of God with the word of God Malachi 3:9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. They will not quote the whole scripture, but the part of being cursed with a curse. Tithes and offerings assist in keeping the church flowing by keeping the lights, gas, and water on. The upkeep of the church, blessing the Pastor as well as helping member’s in the church and the community who are in need.  The New Testament speaks nothing of a curse because the curse was Law and Jesus came in order that we may be free from the Law, but abide by God’s word willingly.  It’s our Christian duty to give our tithes and offering, but many have  been bound in their finances because they have had the scripture quoted to them so many years about being cursed until the curse is being manifested in the lives of God’s people because every time we tell someone they are cursed, we’re speaking evil upon them and God does not commit evil. Spoken words are just like a stray bullet it has no directions and goes out and hit people whose innocence and their desire is to give, but don’t have the financial means to give. Malachi 3:9-10 is speaking about people who decided they weren’t going to follow the ordinance of God’s Law.

If tithes and offering are explained biblical it is left up to the individual whether or not they will follow God’s instructions. There are people working from pay check to pay check, trying to live above the water, trying to serve God the best they know how, give their offerings when they can’t give their tithes then to come into the house of God and is told they are cursed because they didn’t give their tithes is an approach to God for killing His people, mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well giving Satan permission to attack the Christians finances. A true Christian is willing to give their tithes and live their life accordingly to the instructions of the Word of God; we need to focus on what we’re saying when speaking into someone life. We don’t know what’s going on in the individual’s life the reason why they don’t tithe or don’t give an offering unless the Spirit of God gives us revelation.

We have to stop badgering people when they are not lining up with the Word of God. We don’t condone their sins, but we should be in a place in God where we can lead them in a better way. We’re saying Satan is always busy, he doesn’t have to stay busy when he’s using people who aren’t spiritual discerning to get his job done. We’re spiritual beings, words are powerful whether they are used to bless or curse. When we’re busy taking the time to fulfill everything we have planned for the day but never place God in the plan something is wrong. We should make time for God and place Him on the top of the list. Our day should start with God and end with God; morning prayer, night prayer. Matter of fact, we should be saying a prayer and a praise throughout the day, this will keep us connected and our spiritual hearing would be more sensitive to the Spirit of God.

Have you every had a day, and you were busy throughout the day, but you can’t see what you did or nothing you accomplished? Maybe there have been times you wanted to pray or read the Word of God, but every time you prepare yourself to do so, the phone rang, a thought comes to your mind, you didn’t accomplish a task or you need to call someone. You read your email and by the time you’re finished, its time to retire for bed. Never let anything or anyone keep your time to the point, you can’t spend time with your Heavenly Father.
