Mark 10:27 – And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Impossible – Inconceivable, unachievable, not capable of being done or happening. Not capable of being endured.

A rich young ruler came to Jesus, asking Him, what must he do to inherit eternal life. Jesus told him, you know the commandments,  do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, don’t defraud anyone, honor thy father and mother.  The young ruler answered Jesus, by telling Him, I have kept these commandments from my youth.

Jesus told him, there is one thing you lack, go and sell whatever you have and give it to the poor and you shall have treasure in heaven and come and follow me. The young ruler left sad because he had great possessions. Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!”

Many have taken this scripture out of context assuming if you’re rich, then you can’t enter into the kingdom of God, or if you’re financial stable, it’s a sin. Rather its riches or people when we exhort them above God, that’s when it becomes sin. The rich young ruler had kept the commandments, but he didn’t want to depart from his riches. His riches had become his treasure (Luke 12:34- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also). The reason why many people cannot get into a  relationship and fellowship with God is that their heart is in the wrong place. We have allowed things, situations and people to take the place of God. You’re not in something that God is not aware of, but if you take the time and begin to pray for instructions the very thing you thought was impossible, God can give you the directions and instructions of what to do.

Always remember, God has the last say so, it’s not over when the fat lady sings, it’s over when God says it’s over! You will have the victory if your life is in Christ. Sometimes you have to talk to yourself to get your faith to go to another level. The lady that had an issue of blood for twelve years found out what was impossible with the physicians was possible for the Son of God. ( For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole  – Matthew 9:21). She began to talk to herself and  built her faith in Jesus; and when she touched Jesus’ garment, she was healed.

You may have been going through something for a long time, believe  me, God knows how long you have been in the situation, but when you place your trust in God, when He has worked a work in you and out of you, what the devil meant for evil, God will work it together for your good! Don’t let anyone tell you that you have an impossible situation or circumstance when God is on your side, and especially when He’s living inside of you, there is nothing you can’t accomplish. He that lives inside of you is greater than whatever may be going on in you or your life. Stop making your circumstances god, and let God be God.
