God of This World

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them -(2nd Corinthians 4:4 -).

Satan is the god of this world,  and Jesus is the God of Creation.   As Christians each of us should have the Spirit of God living in our being, if not, we will not have the power to spread the gospel effectively. There is a lot preaching and teaching but in order for it to be effective, the person that is preaching or teaching should have a relationship with the Father.Only God knows what is in the heart of people, there is not a thought that God is not aware of it, so in order to be effective to win souls, to encourage someone to come out of religion, to come out of false religion we must be aware of what’s in the heart. What’s in the heart is what make people do what they do. First, it becomes a thought, as the person continues to think on the thought it goes into the heart and they fulfill the thought. Secondly, our thoughts are formed through the eyes, ears, and other senses. The raw material of our actions is what we take into our mind and allow to settle in our heart.

This is why as Christians we should be careful of what our eyes and ears are receiving. Satan influences our thoughts through what we see and hear. Satan is not after the ones he already has, he’s looking and searching for Christians to bring an approach against what they have been professing. Satan will try to influence anyone but he preys on the weak Christians, the ones that hardly pray until something happens, the Christian who only read their Bible when in church and asked to turn to the Scripture. The Christian who never fast, these are easy targets to influence with thoughts that are against the Word of God. It’s not that they don’t believe in God, they don’t believe in Satan and his influences. The weak Christian is just as vulnerable as those who don’t believe in God.

Satan has both the weak Christian and the unbeliever in spiritual denial of their bondage. God’s Word and His Spirit living within professing Christians will be the antidote to the widespread of unbelief and ungodliness. As Christians, we should have daily prayer, daily reading the Word of God and a time set aside to study the Word of God. Fasting is something that Christians should do in order to dominate the desires and lusts of the flesh as well as being sensitive to the Spirit of God. The more we submit ourselves to God and His Word, the more He will enable us to witness effectively.

God has empowered every believer to live a godly and righteous life according to His standards and not what we think is righteous but what is declared in His Word that is righteous. God’s power will not be released to us to spread the Gospel effectively until professing Christians submit themselves completely to the Word of God. We have to pray for the unbeliever, we have fast for the unbeliever, and we have to witness to them the Word of God as He unctions us to do so.

If people truly knew there were a God and Satan, and what happens to the unbeliever, they would be more interest in knowing God and accepting His salvation through His Son, Jesus, the Christ of God. Professing Christians are the ones that are on display, our display should be enticing people to come to Jesus. When the anointing and the power of God are being manifested through the Christian, the unbelievers will begin to come to Jesus and they will be loosed from their imprisonment.

Satan has the power of influence, and he’s influencing not only the unbeliever but the believer as well. Many Christians are performing actions that are sin according to the Word of God. God left a handbook, called the Bible, to instruct professing Christians how to live a life that is pleasing to God. Satan influences sin that is satisfying to the flesh and destroying the person’s relationship with God. Yes, sin is pleasurable, but nothing is worth losing your soul for. Jesus made a statement, “what would it gain a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul”. Many are comparing their life to what they think is right rather than comparing their life to the Bible’s instructions. God’s Word is to be reverenced and adhered to; that’s if we want to live with Him forever!
