Jesus Will Return

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand – Revelation 1:3.

Apocalypse – Revelation disclosure, a genre of writings which concerns visions or prophecies of the end times or the age to come.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ can mean it comes from Christ or is about Him, in this case, it’s both. The author of Revelation refers to himself as John who is one of Jesus disciples.

A.D. Jesus calls John the son of Zebedee to follow Him. A.D 30 John becomes a leader in the early church. A.D 67 Peter and Paul are executed; John takes up residence at Ephesus. A.D 70. The Romans destroy Jerusalem and the church is scattered. A.D. 90 John writes his Gospel and letters. A.D. 93 John is exiled to the island of Patmos. A.D. 95 John writes Revelation.

John is the author, but Jesus is the Revelator. The Apostle John was with Jesus on the Mount of Olives near Jerusalem, some sixty years previous to his experience on Patmos when Jesus Christ gave His followers the signs to look for of His second coming and the end of man’s government.

Prior to John’s vision, Daniel was also given a vision of the soon-coming Jesus Christ ( I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom that all people, nations, and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed – Daniels 7:13-14). Matthew who was an apostle of Jesus also spoke of the return of Jesus (And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory – Matthew 24:30). Those that don’t believe Jesus is the Son of God will not stop His return.

Prior to Jesus’ return, He informed His disciples what will be the signs prior to His return (For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nations shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows – Matthew 24:57). There is many pastors, teachers, evangelist, and apostles saying they are messengers of Christ, but in reality, they are the messengers of Satan.

When you attend a church, and the pastor, prophet, teacher, evangelist, and apostle never address the sins the professing Christians are committing, something is spiritually wrong. Either they are afraid or they are the messengers of Satan. It’s the messengers that suppose to lead the people from sin and in order to do that, they must be taught what is sin and the consequences of sin.

When Jesus return, it’s going to be a sad day for those that rejected Jesus and His doctrine as well as those that attended church and continued to live a lifestyle of sin. The Bible gives instructions to keep one from going to hell, but it can’t be read and the individual will not comply with the instructions. Sadly, to say many are attending church is sliding their way to hell because of rejecting Biblical instructions. Your pastor is not trying to run your life he or she are trying to keep you from going to hell by giving you Biblical instructions if he or she is preaching and teaching the written Word of God.

Those that will be left behind after the rapture will go through many pains, so much pain they will want to die and can’t (And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them – Revelation 9:6). The time to prepare for His coming is now.
