Words

Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them – Mark 11:24.

The Scripture tells us that God demands that we have faith if we are to please Him. If God demands us to have faith when it’s impossible for us to have faith, we have a right to challenge His justice because that would be unjust. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. God tells us how faith comes, or how to get faith, if we’re listening to His Word it will build faith. Whatever we’re listening to will build faith whether it’s negative or positive.

As Christians, we need to realize that confession precedes possession. Most Christians want to possess the blessing first and then they’ll confess it. Jesus said, ” he shall have whatsoever he saith” (For verily, I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith – Mark 11:23). Words are powerful because they’re actions, and they will bring happiness, regret, depression or positive faith.

Jesus is telling the professing Christian to have the God-kind of faith, you must believe the Word of God in your heart, and you must believe the Word that comes out of your mouth, doing this gives you power over demons, diseases, and circumstances. Sadly to say many professing Christians don’t believe in demons, but it is demons that bring havoc, doubt, fear, some diseases, and sickness.

Our words dominate us, we will either rise to the level of our confession or we will fall to the level of our confession. For example, if you have a task, and you say “I can’t do it”, the moment you said you can’t do it, doubt rose up lie a giant and bound you because you had negative faith! You will be imprisoned by your negative words. Your words will make you have victory or defeat, freedom or bondage.

If you’re truly a born-again Christian, the Holy Spirit lives within you, this is why the Bible states “Greater is He that lives within you, then he lives in the world”. Be careful of the words you speak, speak faith; continue to speak it until it grows in your heart. Overcome your negative words with positive words. Remove doubtful thinking out of your mind. What’s in your mind will fill your heart, and what’s in your heart, you will speak.
