In The Hands of God

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee – Isaiah 43:2

Sometimes we can go through such a difficult test or trial, we feel as though we’re going to be drowning in it. Or the test can be so intense it feels as though you can smell the smoke. There’s one thing we can know for sure, that God will never leave us to be destroyed by a test or trial.

In life we will always have tests and trials, and that’s whether we believe in God or if we don’t. Tests and trials will come, the difference with the believer is that God will never put more on us than we can bear. Whenever we’re being tested, we should look at it this way. Either we’re being tested or going through a trail because God is promoting us to another level in the spirit. Or we’re being tested to see whether we choose righteousness over ungodliness. Tests and trails can be very intense, but it’s one thing about God, He will never leave us alone. He will always send His Son, Jesus, to come and walk us through every test and trail when we place our trust in Him.

You may have been in a trial or test for a long time. Don’t give up, keep praying, fasting, reading and studying the Bible. Get busy helping others and watch God create in you faith to weather the storms of life. Have faith to endure hardness like a good solider of Jesus Christ. Have faith to tell Satan although you may try slay me, yet will I trust God because Jesus defeated you at the cross, so what you’re doing, God will defeat you and I shall come out with the Victory!

Just as we talk with God, sometimes, we have to place Satan and his imps in their place, by using the name of Jesus and the Word of God. Whenever Satan came to Jesus, Jesus used the Word of God on him, and we too should use the Word of God when dealing with an attack from Satan.

If a trial comes from God, trust Him, don’t get angry with Him, love Him, and praise Him. Now you’re ready for spiritual growth. God has you in the palms of His Hand.
