God’s Word Can Be Trusted

God’s Word Can Be Trusted

As for God, His way is perfect, the word of the Lord is tried. He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him – Psalm 18:30.  In life things and people will come and go. The world is forever changing and so are the people. People you thought would never hurt you, they did. The things you said you would never do, you did, but when it comes to the word of God, it never changes. In order for God’s word to be manifested on our behalf, we’re going to go through things in order for His word to come into manifestation. Tried means to be tested, proved and trustworthy. How many times have we promised God we will be faithful in praying or reading the Bible only to find ourselves not keeping our word?  When God says He’s faithful, we can believe Him. When were not faithful to God, He stays faithful to us. His word says “He will keep them in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Him”. No matter how tough the trial maybe, we can trust the word of God that He will bring us through the trial when we place our faith in Him, when we continue to seek His face, is when we find rest in our mind, heart and spirit.  Buckler is a shield, God will shield you from the darts of the enemy. He will protect you when harm comes your way,

In order for God to defeat our enemy, indicates in this life, we will have people that will not like us for whatever reason they tell themselves the reason they don’t like us. The ditch they dig is the  opportunity for God to show Himself strong in our behalf. Don’t think because you’re a Christian everybody is going to love you, and think well of you because they will not. Joseph loved God, but his brother threw him in a hole and God brought him out with the victory. Whatever hole you maybe in, God can bring you out as you allow Him to bring you out the way  He wants to bring you out.

In order to receive of God, we must experience something for His word to be manifested. Know that your life belongs to God, know that He’s in control of your life since you dedicated yourself to Him, and He will never allow anything to come into your life to destroy you when you have placed your life and trust in Him. There is victory in your life because of God and His Word. He exalts His Word above His name! Don’t allow the circumstances of life to beat you down, but bow in your heart and in your mind in prayer and allow God to exalt you and bring you into His glory! Trust His Word, submit to His Word, and allow the Word to bring you victory.

Prayer of Repentance

Prayer of Repentance

Wherefore I abhor (despise) myself, and repent in dust and ashes ( Job 42-6)  Job repenting before God, for the sins he committed.

Many times when people hear the word repent, the first thing, they think about is sinners repenting for their sins, but repentance isn’t just for those coming into the knowledge of God, its for those who say they know God and do the opposite of what His Word instruct us to do. Throughout the day, we need to take the time, and do a self check to see if we have sinned against God or have offended His people in anyway.

Our prayer today Father as we come before You, we ask for forgiveness of sins we may have committed against You, Your people and ourselves. We pray as we bow before You in our hearts, to check our hearts,  spirits as well as our motivates and anything You find that is opposite of Your Word, we pray today, to destroy it from the root. We ask You to forgive us for the many times we didn’t pray when You  unctioned us to pray. We ask that You forgive us when we placed everything and everybody before You. Forgive us for those we have judged according to our emotions and not Your Word. Forgive us for the lies we have told and never repented.  Forgive us for the times we wasted at work when we should have been working.  Forgive us, for fault-finding and looking down on others. Forgive us for spiritual discrimination. Forgive us for committing physical and spiritual fornication and adultery.  Forgive us for thoughts we have thought that was sin in Your eyes. Forgive us for the time we didn’t spend with our spouse, children or parents. Forgive us for not taking the time to instruct our children in the ways of the Lord. Help us Father, to love You as Your Son, Jesus loves You. Help us Father to submit ourselves to You as Jesus did. Help us to forgive others and we desire  You to forgive us of our sins. Help us to pray in faith without doubting. Help us to take time and read what You’re saying to us through Your Word, the Bible. Help us to love Your people as You love them. Help us to accept Your instructions and to submit to them. Change our hearts to Your heart, change our mind to the mind of Jesus. Write Your Words on the table of our hearts and minds. Help us to desire Your will to be done in us and through us. Help us to realize we need You moment by moment, minute by minute. Help us Father to please You, we ask these prayers in the precious name of your Son, Jesus. Thank You for hearing and answering this prayer, thank God, Amen!

Expectation

Expectation

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing  I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always so now also in Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death – Philippians 1:20

Apostle Paul was imprisoned in Rome, awaiting his trial. He knew he would either be released or executed, but whatever the outcome would be, he was placing his trust in the Lord. As Christians, we  need our faith to rise to another level. Too many times we place our expectation in what we see, hear and feel. Concerned about what people think of us; afraid to be tested to get the best worrying about being brought to shame.  When God has promised, those that wait on the Lord will  not be brought to shame. Those who don’t believe in God, life on earth is all there is, so it’s natural for them to strive for this world’s values, money, popularity, power and prestige. As Christians, if we do it the way God has instructed, (Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you) we wouldn’t strive for the world values, when we do it according to Bible principals. We cannot lose our focus, Jesus is on His way back for His church, and what we have accomplished in worldly values will not enables us to enter to Heaven.

There is nothing wrong with desiring to live a life without having to live pay check to pay check or a monthly income, it becomes sin when we place our values more on money,  popularity, prestige rather than the things that would build the kingdom of God. Jesus asked His disciples, For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul ?       Mark 8:36. If we live according to the Word of God, it’s His responsibility to supply our needs, and as we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart. It’s God’s pleasure to see His children’s joy being fulfilled.

The reason why many Christians don’t have their expectation in God, but their expectation is in worldly values is because they spend more time pertaining to the things of the world rather than seeking God in prayer and taking the time to read God’s word and allow Him to speak to them through His word. If the word of God is not residing in our spirit or mind, how would one know when God is speaking to them? Our expectation should be from God, not in people; this is why God has instructed us not to place our confidence in men; that’s including female too when the Bible speaks of man. People are limited in what they can do, and because of the selfishness of people, they would rather see you fall than to see you excel. When we have the Spirit of God living within our being, we become as our Father, desiring the best for all mankind.

When we pray, we should have expectation that God heard the prayer, and He will answer the prayer. It may not be when we desire it, but the prayer will be answered when the time is needed according to the will of God. Stop placing your expectation in what people say, and start reading the Word of God, and place your expectation in Him. God can open doors no man can open, He can close doors no mancan open. He’s greater than any doctor or the medication they prescribe. He’s the CEO over all businesses whether they know it or not. He’s a counselor, joy and peace. Provider and protector, He’s King and He will dominate everything we allow Him to bring His will into. Place your expectation in the God that speaks, builds, destroys and the giver of life!

Mind of Christ

Mind of Christ

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus  (Philippians 2:5).                                                                                                                                                  Mind – To obey, be under the authority, to do as one is told. To give one’ attention,  to be attentive. Jesus mind was to please the Father, He didn’t come to earth with His own agenda, but came to do the will of the Father. Jesus was our example of how we should be as children of God. Some may say, living as a Christian is hard, but that’s opposite of what the Word of God says, the bible instructs the way of  a transgressor is hard (Good understanding giveth {gains} favor: but the way of a transgressor is hard – Proverbs 13:15).If living as a Christian according to the Bible is hard, it’s only because the individual hasn’t made up their mind and they have a poor understanding of scripture.

Dying to Live

Dying to Live

Some men’s sin are open (clearly evident) before hand, going (preceding) before to judgment; and some men they follow after (later).                            1st Timothy 5:24   Paul was  instructing Timothy not to be hasty installing men into office, but to carefully examine each elder candidate, his true character and fitness for office to be determined. Many times people are placed in offices they should not be in because their spirit nor their character is in line with the Word of God. Leaders are to be  an example  to others as well as those that are professing to be Christians should live a life by precept and example of the Bible. Paul instructed the believer to follow him as he follow Christ. Many are standing in the office of a leader and they are directing people straight to hell because of their opposite teaching of what the Bible has instructed the believers to live.
