It’s Time To Pray

Great and mighty God, God of holiness, God of righteousness. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein. The God of time, the God of greatness, the God of majestic, the God of all power, long-suffering, and merciful. We come before You with hearts of repentance. We repent for ourselves and for everyone that has sinned against You. Forgive us for our disobedience, forgive us for slothfulness in prayer and studying Your Word. Forgive us for not loving and being kind to one another as You have commanded. As we come before You today, we yield every part of our being to You. We will present ourselves as a living sacrifice to You. We will put on the garment of praise; we will place our trust and our confidence in You and Your Word. Read More

In this chapter, Jesus dwelt with three particular subjects regarding His disciples: their relationship with Him, their relationship with other believers, and their relationship with the world. First, the woman is in marvel about Him asking for water with kindness; for it was the pride of Jews that they would endure any hardship rather than be indebted to a Samaritan. Secondly, she wonders that He should expect to receive this kindness from her that was a Samaritan. Read More
