Praying for the Family
By faith, Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear (reverence) prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith Hebrews 11:7
Sometimes praying for love ones can be challenging, it seem the more you pray, the more they act up, the more you try to be an example, the more they will reject salvation, but the more they reject, that’s when the prayer for our family should be intensified.
No one knows when salvation will come to those we love, but it’s one thing we should know is that God wants our household saved. Just as He was concerned about Noah and his family, God is concerned about our family’s salvation. We’re in the ark of God, He and His Son, has taken up resident in our spirit and He hears the prayers that has been giving for our family, and one day He will answer those prayers. We may not be alive to see their salvation, but as we continue to pray for them, God will eventually begin to turn their hearts towards Him. We have a promise from God that our household would be saved (For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call – Acts 2:39). That wasn’t just for the people in the book of Acts, but that is for every believer that will be diligent in praying for the family.
