And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an (flow) issue of blood twelve years came behind him, and touched the hem of His garment – Matthew 9:20

The woman was diseased with a constant issue of blood for twelve years, a disease, which was not only weakening and wasting, but which also rendered her ceremonially unclean, and shut her out from the courts of the Lord’s house. The closing of the doors of the Lord’s house, didn’t keep her from approaching Jesus when she heard that He was in the neighborhood. She sought the Lord for healing and she received her healing.

This woman had spent all of her money seeking different physicians for healing and none of them could heal her. The woman’s great faith in Jesus, and in His power cast out doubt from her mind. Her disease was such a nature, that her modesty would not suffer her to speak openly to Jesus for a cure, as others did. But she believed Him to have such an overflowing fullness of healing virtue, that the very touch of His garment would be her cure. She had tried every physician she thought could heal her until she came to her senses realizing the only one could cure her would be Jesus.

Jesus has dominion over every sickness, disease and infirmity. He’s greater than any physician, He’s the physician that can speak to the disease and it has to bow. He’s greater than any surgeon, all He has to do is lay His hands on us, and the anointing from His hands, will cut out the disease without a surgical knife. The woman with the issue of blood had been in this condition for twelve years without relief, but when she sought Jesus and placed her faith in Him, she received the answer to her prayer.

It doesn’t matter how long you have had an issue whether it’s physically, mentally, emotionally, financially or with a relationship, Jesus can speak to your issue and it has to bow to His command. Place your faith in Jesus, call on His great name for your help, for your peace, for your strength, for your deliverance. His word has given us a promise that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. This doesn’t mean just for salvation, but for everything that is pertaining to life.

Just like the woman with the issue of blood, she believed if she touched His garment she would be healed, and her faith in Jesus made her whole. Come to Jesus, believe that He is who He says He is, believe that He can heal every issue in your life. What concerns you, concerns Him, allow Him to heal your issues, and live.
