In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them – 2nd Corinthians 4:4.

Satan is the god of this world. Satan’s influence is far more pervasive than people realize. He will try to influence the strong as well as the weak and those that are insecure in their Christian walk. He would like to confuse and deceive the entire human race.  He contaminates all aspects of life, politics, music, entertainment, education, marriage and even religion.Satan preys upon our thoughts and emotions, especially those that are negative such as pride, hurt, revenge, unforgiveness, lust, and weariness. The majority of ministers today don’t talk about Satan and Hell or demonic manifestations; they teach on subjects that will make the congregation feel good, making them want to shout  and dance around the church, but once we get through dancing, once we get through singing and clapping our hands, do we have the power that Satan and his co-host will be submitted to the words we speak?

Thirty to fifty years ago, you would hear about a revival and people receiving salvation, filled with the Holy Spirit. People was healed miraculously. God hasn’t changed, we have. To receive the power of God back into the church building as well as our physical building, we as Christians must return to the God of our Salvation and serve Him wholeheartedly. When Satan comes to influence, he doesn’t come with a long tail with horns, dressed in a red suit with a pitchfork. Satan comes with a three-piece suit; he comes in our music, television programs, the Internet and some of our churches. He comes by ways of our thoughts. If you think about it when you feel down-hearted the majority of the time its caused by what you think about. I’m not saying deny whatever the problems may be, but don’t let the problem or issue become your thought pattern. When we continue to think about the things that bother or upset us, that thought will become our god. We’re placing more focus on the problem rather than God who can solve the problem.

Satan influences people there isn’t a God, as long as he can continue to keep people believing that lie, he will continue to destroy people, the body of Christ, he will continue to destroy our children through drugs, gang-banging, and illicit sex, educational ignorance. He will continue to have Christians fighting and bickering against one another. He will continue to destroy marriages and families because we’re trying to fight people when it’s not the people that are causing the problem, but spirits that are ruling and dominating individuals. People want to receive the blessings of God, but they don’t want to deny themselves by fasting, praying, reading and studying God’s Word to find out the promises of  God.  Rather than finding God’s plan for their life, they will go to a  palm reader, psyche, tarot card reader, spiritualist, horoscope and believe their lies.

People are sitting in dead churches, the Spirit of God isn’t there, but they continue to stay there because that’s where their mother or father is joined or another family member. If you can’t feel the Spirit of God in church, you don’t need to be in that church. Always beware of what you hear, if you don’t see it in the Bible, if you don’t see the manifestation of the power of God in the pastor or minister, you need to seek another church home.  Attending church with your name on the church log does not make you a candidate for Heaven. Your labor in the church does not get you into heaven, we can’t earn our way to God, we must believe in God and live according to His instructions which are written in the Bible (But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your  own selves – James 1:22).

God hasn’t changed, He is still seating on His throne in heaven, and He has given power to His people to dominate the earth, and to take dominion over Satan and his co-host. If we want to see the power of God manifested, we must return to Him whole heartily. Read the Word of God, do a self-examination and see whether or not you’re living according to God’s standards (Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except [ unless ye don’t stand the test] ye be reprobates – 2nd Corinthians 13:5). Prayer, fasting, reading and studying the Word of God and being submissive to the Word of God is the only way we will begin to see the manifestation of God’s power. Just as Jesus healed and delivered in the New Testament, He hasn’t changed, when He ascended to heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to not only be our Comforter but to execute the Gifts of the Spirit within the believer (Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit – 1st Corinthians 12:4), (For one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will – 1st Corinthians 12:8-11). These gifts are for every born-again Christian no matter what denomination they are affiliated with, these gifts are to manifest in the body of believers to deliver the strongholds whereby Satan people bound.

Behind every ungodly action, there is an ungodly spirit that is the cause and the effect. People are fighting and demonstrating against people when they should be taking authority over the spirit that has the person bound, but we can’t have authority if we have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit. There are many Christians that believe but haven’t been baptized in the Spirit. Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the act whereby the individual believer becomes united with Jesus Christ and they become one with the Father and Son (That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou has sent me – John 17:21).  When the Holy Spirit resides in an individual the persons’ behavior and the character becomes that of the Father and the Son. The Fruit of the Spirit will be manifested and they will have the authority to take dominion over evil spirits and actions (Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you – Luke 10:19). We as the body of Christ can’t continue to allow Satan and his co-host to continue to destroy people, it’s not the people, but the evil spirit that resides and influences and compel them to do what they do. When we as the church, the body of Christ truly begin to seek God in prayer, fasting and speaking the Word of God, we will see a change in us as well as our government, businesses, homes, communities, schools, cities, states and countries; God is not going to do what He has told us to do, He has given us dominion (For the earnest expectation of the creature [creation] waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God – Romans 8:19).
