A Change Is Coming

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper – Psalm 1:3

When we submit ourselves to the Word of God this gives us favor with God to accomplish different tasks in our lives. Favor doesn’t mean we’re exempt from failure or difficulties, nor is it a guarantee of health, wealth and happiness. God has promised, if we delight ourselves in Him, He would give us the desires of our heart. This means when our heart becomes as His heart, we will not pray for things that are against His will or His Word. Throughout Scriptures, God speaks about His blessings to His people. God hasn’t changed. Whatever season you may be in, doesn’t change what God has spoken over your life.

The words He spoke will not return to Him void. God has a set time for His blessings to come, don’t fret or worry. Sometimes rather than wanting someone to lay hands and pray for us, we have to lay hands on ourselves and speak to ourselves we’re blessed, speak the Word of God over our situations. No matter what’s going on in our life, God’s Word is always active, we must believe His Word, we must know God didn’t bring us this far in life to drop us or forget us. Sisters and brothers, God has you in the palm of His hands, and His eyes are constantly on you. There is nothing going on in your life that God is not aware of. Continue to pray and fast. Read and study His Word; and as sure as you entered into your dilemma, God also has an exit door with a time for you to exit.

If every day was like a holiday, we wouldn’t pray, fast or read the Bible, issues come into our lives to draw us closer to God and His Word. Our faith is like someone in a boxing match before the boxer can fight, he or she must practice, they must watch their opponent to see where they are weak and continue to hit that spot. Satan comes weak through our prayers, praises and speaking the Word of God.  This practice will not only defeat our adversary but it will also increase our faith in God and His Word.
