And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell – Matthew 10:28.

Hell is a place that no one should want to go to, but because hell is not mentioned in the majority of Christian services; Christians are living like nonbelievers not knowing they’re on their way to a place that has an entrance, but not an exit!

Heaven is for believers and hell is for nonbelievers, as well as the carnal Christians. God does not want anyone to die and go to hell so He gave away to escape through the salvation of His Son Jesus Christ the Son of God.

There are many voices and spirits in the world that are leading people away from God (Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world – 1st John 4:1). John is not speaking to demon possessions, but to teachers who promote error. Believers have the Holy Spirit that will enable them to discern false teaching unless they have been slack in their prayer life and commitment to God. In contrast, those who have not been baptized in the Holy Spirit will not recognize false teaching. False prophets and teachers obey evil spirits whereas a true prophet receives direct revelation from God. A false prophet claims to have received direct revelation from God but in fact, promotes erroneous ideas and doctrines.

As Christians, we must stay connected with God by prayer, fasting, reading and studying His Word, and sitting in silence to hear what He has to say or what He will deposit in our spirit. Time is crucial and Satan and his demons are influencing people to deny God, turning some from the faith of Christianity to other doctrines. Christianity is to be Christ-like, through the Holy Spirit we live the way we were created in the image of God.

Christians must read the Bible to be aware of who they are in Christ, to be pleasing to the Father through their lifestyle, and to be aware of false doctrines and teachers. God holds every Christian responsible for knowing His instructions, there will be no excuse.

The Bible is not a book of does and don’ts it’s a book that gives you an insurance policy if you follow the instructions, that’s why there will be no excuse if one enters hell rather than heaven. For some reason people don’t want to follow instructions, once saved they carry that same rebellion over into their new life.

Everything you purchase basically has a label with instructions, Jesus has purchased you with His body, and His label is the written Word of God. We can’t live as the world and pleasing to God, disobedient to the Word of God is rebellion, and rebellion is a sin, and the wages of sin is death, both natural and spiritual.

It doesn’t matter if one does not believe there is a God, God will still be God and His Word takes authority over all other doctrines and beliefs. Just as God has promised blessings, He also promised His wrath. God is a God of love, but He also gets angry when His people continue to disobey His instructions. His Word explains what happens when His people disobey His instructions.

There has been so much devastation and there will be more as we get closer to the coming of our Lord and Savior (For nations shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places, All these are the beginning of sorrow – Matthew 24:7-8). Every day when you hear the news something has happening, fires, earthquakes, floods, planes colliding and falling, women being raped in broad daily light, and people being shot and killed sitting in their cars. Businesses are losing business because of being robbed. What once was a safe place for immigrants is no longer safe, the innocent are deported along with the criminals; and the wicked are getting worse. People who should not be in government positions are being in these positions because of the new Administration in the White House.

Christians must be prepared for the coming of our Lord and Savior or death. The preacher can’t preach you into heaven once your soul has departed. Christ-like Christians live life daily, placing on the armor of God to fight the good fight of faith and the attacks of Satan’s influences.

God’s commandments are not hard, love God and love your neighbor. When you love someone you will do everything humanly possible to please them. Jesus is returning for His church, if not Jesus, every one of us has an appointment with death. Where will you spend eternity, heaven or hell?
