Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servant ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness – Romans 6:16.
Who are you really serving, the gods of this world or the Holy Father? He is the only Holy Father, not a man! People say they serve God, but they have made men and women their god.
The Pharisees and Sadducees were religious groups formed during the period between the Old and New Testaments, when the Maccabees ruled Judah. Sadducees meant “righteous ones”, Pharisees meant “separated ones”. Neither one of them was serving God in their heart. Just because one has a title does not mean they have a relationship with God.
These people were considered holier than thou, but their hearts were full of sin. These are the ones who are supposed to have studied and interpreted the law, the five books of Moses known as the Pentateuch or the Torah. The Book of Genesis is the first Messianic prophecy of the Lord’s coming. When He came to them as the Messiah, the Son of God, they refused Him.
The Pharisees and Sadducees wanted the people to worship and serve them rather than the Son of God. In today’s dispensation, there is a certain group of people who are following a man and calling him “Holy Father”; there is only one Holy Father, and His name is God! Evidently, they too want the worship; if it were not so, they would instruct the people who the Holy Father is, and it’s not them. People are idolising a man.
Then it’s those who worship the Virgin Mary rather than Jesus, the Son of God! Millions travel to worship her yearly, even though she, too, will have to answer to Jesus at His return for the church. Yes, Mary was a virgin when she conceived Jesus, but after His birth she was no longer a virgin, she was a vessel that God used to birth His Son, she is not to be worshipped! Only God and Jesus should be worshipped.
There is a denomination that worships its own denomination, thinking it is better than any other. Whatever denomination one may be in, it’s still called for worshipping the Father in spirit and in truth. People are so easily influenced to serve gods rather than the Holy God, Creator of the universe. The One who has authority over all flesh and spirits. The One who has authority over life and death, this is the true God. If the Holy Spirit is indwelling, whatever denomination they are associated with, they, too, are children and servants of the Almighty God!
Men and women die, but the true God is from eternity; there is no one or nothing greater than Him. The priest died, Mary died, but Jesus is the only one who was raised from the dead by His Father. When we worship or serve any other one or thing rather than God, we are serving idols. Idol worshipers will be in the fire (But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and IDOLATERS, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death – Revelation 21:8). People are deceived because they will not pray nor read their Bibles.
Some professing Christians are worshipping entertainers, athletes, artists, movie stars; if you can name it, they will worship them rather than God. They worship them in praises; they don’t give praises to God, but they can give praises to men and women who, if they don’t repent and serve God, will also find themselves in the burning section. People are praising and worshipping people who are sending them to hell right along with them.
When we spend more time on what makes us happy and makes us feel good, we have made ourselves idols. We must be like Jesus, who came to do the Father’s will, and we must do the same as professing Christians. We don’t know which is coming first, death or Jesus, but whoever comes first, we must be in good standing with God; if not, in hell shall we lift up our eyes.
God has given us an instruction manual to follow. He has given His Holy Spirit to those who will obey Him. There will be no excuse for one to say the reason they missed heaven (According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue – 2nd Peter 1:3). God has not given us instructions to do something without giving us the power to do so.
God is real; He does not change. There is a heaven and a hell. Sadly, it’s more likely that people will enter hell than heaven because of the choices they made. Read the Bible, ask God for understanding, and learn how to apply it to your daily life. Do a self-examination to see what god you have allowed to enter your worship. When you find it, ask God forgiveness and repent of it. Don’t find yourself serving people who are idolized. Serve and worship God and Him only.

Are You Serving Little gods or God?
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servant ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness – Romans 6:16.
