For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against the powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places – Ephesians 6:12.

God is real, and so is Satan. Sadly, the majority of the world’s population does not believe in either. This is why many have fallen into religion and false doctrine.

When Satan rebelled against God, he and his angels were cast out of heaven (And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world; he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:9). Because people don’t believe in the devil, this gives him more opportunity to cause chaos in the world.

We are not only dealing with Satan, but also with the angels that were cast out with him. Satan hates God, and he hates God’s people as well as the nonbeliever. Satan has no respect for persons; he will use anyone. Many have and are being used by Satan without their knowledge.

Anyone who murders someone without it being self-defence is demon-possessed. People who rape and harm children are controlled by demonic spirits. The things humans do to one another are unimaginable; they are the influences of demons.

Some mental illnesses are caused by a chemical imbalance, and others are caused by demonic oppression (And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way Matthew 8:28). To know the difference between a chemcial imbalance and demonic oppression one must have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit giving them discernment.

Some sicknesses are physical, and others are demonic (And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day – Luke 13:16). This woman had been bent over for eighteen years; she had a spirit of infirmity which came from one of Satan’s demons.

People cutting themselves are sometimes caused by mental illness, and others are demonic oppression (And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones – Mark 5:5). If a person is oppressed by demons, neither a psychiatrist nor medication is going to solve the problem.

People are going to doctors, counselors, psychiatrists when they need to be seeking a man or woman of God who has the power to loose them from demonic oppression. There is nothing wrong with going to doctors; God gave them knowledge to find cures that will help people when it’s a medical problem and not a spiritual problem.

We are spiritual beings, and we are dealing with spiritual beings that have been sent by Satan to oppress, depress people physically, mentally, and emotionally. God gave an instructional manual to defeat Satan and his cohost (Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, having done all, to stand – Ephesians 6:13). Because so many professing Christians are living double lifestyles they are disconnected from God and don’t have the power to confront Satan and his cohost.

God gives His people spiritual gifts, and one of them is the gift of discernment. The gift of discernment reveals what’s in the spiritual realm. What is physical and what is demonic, what is truth and what is a lie. Through the gift of discernment, God will show what is hidden, what spirit is behind words spoken. This gift is one of the Fruit of the Spirit, and it only comes by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

What is going on in the world is spiritual, but most people think it is just a person or persons. Evil spirits are assigned to countries, communities, homes, as well as people. We need to see with the eyes of God, and we need His Holy Spirit to fight against the evil spirits that have been assigned to destroy our country, communities, and families.

God did not instruct us to protest; He said to pray (If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land – 2nd Chronicles 7:14). When we do the opposite of what God has instructed us to do we’re placing matters in our own hands.

There is nothing that man can do about the injustice in the world, and all the evil in the world. It’s by God and His Spirit in those who are submitted and committed to Him to fight this spiritual battle. It’s time to stop playing church and be the church individually. The body of Christ is soldiers, and it’s time to fight for what is right, and it comes by prayer and fasting.

Yes, the enemy will come against you when you live a committed life to Christ, and you’re coming against his kingdom, but you have the Greater One living in you! So stand, put on the armor of God, and begin to fight by the Spirit of the Living God that dwells in you!

God is waiting on His people to pray; the non-believer is not going to pray; they will protest, but they will not pray. They believe they can do it by their power and numbers. People are depending on themselves and not God. God hears the prayers of the righteous (Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much – James 5:16). When the righteous pray, God will intervene.

The Spirit of God living in us can fight against the spirits that are in the world and win!
