When You Don’t Know What To Do

Casting all your cares upon Him, for He careth for you – 1st Peter 5:7.

There will come a time in a Christian’s life when there will be difficulties. It does not mean God does not love you because you’re going through difficult situations. Christian living has hilltop experiences as well as valley experiences.

Job was a man who loved God and shunned evil. Yet he suffered for his faith in God. Job lost everything and then was attacked in his body, with boils from the crown of his head to the bottom of his feet. He did what was right in the eyes of God, but now he’s suffering. Why did God allow such a thing?

The Bible does not promise that we will not get attacked with sickness or difficulties. But we do have a promise that the Lord will deliver us from out of them all. You may have a certain way you want the Lord to deliver you, which may not come the way you expected.

Job lost everything, including his health, but he didn’t blame God (In all this, Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly . God knew that Job was righteous and allowed Satan to attack him; Satan couldn’t attack Job unless God permitted him.

There will come a time in every Christian’s life when they will suffer. The suffering may come in the form of mental, emotional, financial, or relational distress. Don’t blame God, and don’t faint in your heart or mind, whatever form it may come.

Jesus told His disciples that men should always pray and not faint. Meaning whatever you’re going through, pray and don’t doubt. Everything Christians go through has an entrance; if it has an entrance, it will have an exit.

God allows difficulties to come into our lives either for discipline or spiritual growth. Some things we go through, we cause ourselves. But when God allows it, it will work together for our good. We live in a sinful world; to keep us untainted from the world, God allows things to happen to keep us humble and make our faith grow by seeking Him for answers and comfort.

God wants our faith to be in Him and not in what we’re going through. Nothing is going on in your life that He does not know about. He’s trying to get us to the point that whether He delivers or not, we will still place our trust in Him and continue to praise and give Him glory.

Job could have been angry with God; he could have faulted God, but rather than doing that, he continued to seek to please God through his obedience. Job had enough faith in God that he knew if God wanted to heal him, He could. But if He didn’t, Job had a mindset that he would continue to serve God.

Whatever we go through in life is a life lesson and a spiritual lesson, first natural and then spiritual. When you don’t know what to do, the best thing you can do is pray and ask God for guidance. Understand that God loves you, and He wants the best for you.

God never allows anything to come into your life and leave you to defend yourself. He’s there to walk you through the difficult times. Just like a natural father will protect and take care of his child, our Heavenly Father will do the same and more.

There is nothing too hard for God; trust Him, and place your faith in Him. Sometimes, God will leave us in certain situations to determine if we will trust Him or if we will turn to secular actions to try to get our needs met.

Everything a Christian goes through is a stepping stone to get them into another dimension of the Spirit. We will never know what God can do if we never get into a situation to be delivered. God has not forsaken you; He’s there to walk you through whatever you’re going through into victory.

The children of Israel were promised a land flowing with milk and honey, but they were told they would have to face some giants on their way to the promised land. Christians are on a journey to the promised land, which is heaven. On this journey, we will face giants; God has empowered us to fight giants. Greater is He that lives in us than he that lives in the world. We have Supernatural power living within our being that is greater than anything that would try to come against us.

When you don’t know what to do, prayer is always the best option. Pray until you’re strengthened, pray until your faith is increased. Prayer until you’re delivered. Pray until you allow God to have His way in your life and in your soul.
