You Can’t Love God and Love Satan

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him – 1st John 2:15  Some people assume worldliness is limited to external behavior, but the people we associate with, the places we go, and the activity we enjoy. Worldliness is also internal, it beings in the heart. It is characterized by three attitudes; lust of the flesh (preoccupation with gratifying physical desires); lust of the eyes (materialism, a craving and accumulating things). Pride of life (obsession with one’s status or importance). All this is the love of the world and not of the Father. We cannot love God and reject His instructions through His written Word. Too many Christians want God and they also want what Satan has to offer. We are going to either serve God or serve Satan whoever we yield our members (body) to, that’s who servant we will be. The body consist of the eyes, ears, hands, feet as well as the soul. Let us take a self-examination and see; who are we really servants too!

Words

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void (empty, without fruit), but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it – Isaiah 55:11 God’s word is powerful, whatever He speaks will manifest by the word He has spoken. God knew each of us before we were created in our mother’s womb, He spoke our destiny before we were born. God spoke life and we became a living soul in our mother’s womb. When God spoke His words over us, His thoughts towards us were not evil, but good to bring us to an expected end. He that has started a good work in us, will complete the work before we meet our Creator, if we allow Him. God doesn’t speak evil things in your life or over your life, but Satan and his followers will. Know the word of God and begin to speak His words over your life, in your situations and circumstances. The Bible is the written word of God, and what He has spoken in His word, will come to pass. The Spirit of the Living God lives within each born-again Christian and when we speak God’s word, it shall come to pass, it shall bring forth fruit, it shall destroy the works of the enemy. The word of God destroys death and will bring forth life.

Thief

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and  keep his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. Revelation 16:15  Jesus will return unexpectedly, so we as Christians must be ready for His return. We can prepare ourselves by standing firm in temptation and by being committed to God’s moral standards and His spiritual laws. We must watch daily, because we don’t know the day, time or hour of His return.  When He returns, our souls must be anchored in the Lord and in His word, there will not be  time to repent, and make excuses; this is why we have been given instructions to follow by the Word of God. A thief never informs you of when he’s going to enter your house or take your car, before you know it the thief will have  came and gone, and that’s the way the Bible has instructed Jesus will be, as a thief.
