The fear of  the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instructions – Proverbs 1:7  

To fear the Lord is to reverence Him. If people would fear the Lord, people wouldn’t be in the chaotic state they’re in. We can’t reject the Word of God and the world stay peaceful. The One who gives peace, the majority of the world has rejected Him and His Word. Crime wouldn’t be as high as it is, if people feared God. Broken marriages wouldn’t exist, because people would commit themselves to their spouse and their marriage. Children would have respect for their parents, themselves and others. If the fear of the Lord was in the heart of the parent, they would teach their children the way God has instructed them. Children learn values, morals, and priorities by observing how their parents act and react on a daily basis.

Despising the Word of God and His instructions has been detrimental to our health, family, marriage, neighborhood,  church community and the United States . It’s God and His Word that gives us wisdom and knowledge for this world and for the kingdom of God. Without God’s Word ruling our life, Satan will continue to rule in the life of people and they will follow his instructions.
