Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life – Proverbs 4:23
Our heart is our feelings of love, as well as hatred, envy, jealousy, fornication and adultery. It dictates our actions in how we live. Jesus taught that sin came out of the heart of people, King Solomon’s, instructions were to watch what comes out of our heart. To keep our heart is to keep it full of the Word of God, to make sure what were looking and listening to is bringing life to our heart and not damnation. What we listen to and watch goes through the eyes gates into our memory. We can recall things from our memory that will bring joy and peace or heartache and anger. What’s in the heart will manifest in our actions that can either bring life or death and that’s physically and spiritually.
