As parents it’s our responsibility to instruct our children the principles of God’s Word. King Solomon instructed parents to ” Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” It may seem although our children are turning a deaf ear, but it’s one thing about the brain, it’s like a computer, and it holds memory. When someone tries to influence them different from what they have been taught, they will know how to make the right decision.

Although we may be parents, it’s wise to pray and ask God how to communicate with our children, He knows them better than we will ever know them, He is also aware of what they have need of when we think we know what they have need of. We never get too old or too independent when we cannot receive advice from our parents as well as others that will give directions by the principals in the Bible. The Bible has instructions for everything we will ever need in life, godly parents will seek out the Word of God to instruct their children.
