Time of Prayer
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up, and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven Him – James 5:15
Prayer should be a consistent action in the life of a believer. It’s through prayer that we’re blessed and we bless others through our consistent prayers. Without prayer we will be stagnated Christians without spiritual growth. Just as we grow from a child to an adult, we should also grow from a baby Christian to a mature Christian, and it’s done through prayer, fasting, reading and studying the word of God then being submitted to the written word.
As we come before You today, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sins we may have committed against You, and any trespasses we may have committed against Your people. We ask You to give us discernment. We pray that Your will, would be done in us as it is in heaven.
We pray that You would make us a people who would be committed to You and Your written word. We pray for our enemies that You would bless them, heal them, deliver them, supply their needs. Draw those in government to You and Your word so that we can live a quiet and peaceful life in godliness.
We pray that a door of utterance is opened by the Holy Spirit to speak the mystery of Christ by the witness of another to our unsaved loved ones, neighbors, friends and co-workers. Allow them to plant the seed of the Word in their heart. Give them a thirst and hunger for righteousness.
Thank You Father, for Your word says “They that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing”. Thank You, that You’re able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
Give us a prayer life that will please You, help us to love everyone as You love them. Help us to be a people who will submit our life to You each and every day.
Thank You, Amen!
