Ah, Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee – Jeremiah 32:17.Realizing that we can’t always change the world to suit our desires or control or lives can shake us to the core. We can become fearful, angry, depressed, or apathetic.

We can become fearful, and angry when we don’t know what the future holds, but those who know their God know that better days are coming for those who have surrendered their lives to living according to God’s written instructions. God has control over our work, health, and our homes. He controls the winds, the waves, the sun, and the stars, He knows each star by name. He controls the particles that make up all matter, the galaxies that span innumerable light-years, and everything else we can possible conceive.

We live in a society that claims to have control over nearly everything. We’re inundated with messages about how much of the world’s humanity has understood and conquered in science, engineering, in physical process, and medicine. In mental development, in commerce and trade. Sometimes because of the different accomplishments society has forgotten about who’s really in control. Humanity couldn’t have accomplished anything without God allowing and given them the wisdom and knowledge to succeed in their accomplishments.

God allows things to occur because He is either strengthening our faith in Him or we’re being disciplined because of our disobedience. Sometimes it’s Satan and his co-host at work and not God. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Well, some may say, “If God is in control why hasn’t He stop what’s going on”. God has given Satan a limited time to rule on the earth, he’s the God of this world (In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God, should shine unto them – 2nd Corinthians 4:4).

When Satan’s time to rule the earth is over, the Son of God will intervene, but the problem is those that didn’t place their faith in the Son of God or lived a life of hypocrisy will be left on the earth to go through the tribulation period if they are still living when the Son of God returns for His church, the body of Christ. With everything that is going on in the world, many have not turned from being non-believers, many are still trying to worship and serve God as well as being servants of Satan. God allows Satan to intervene in humanity when humanity has forsaken God.

Israel was God’s chosen people, He gave them instructions on how to worship and serve Him just as He has done with us. He has given each of us a choice of who we serve whether it’s Him or Satan. He has given us His instructions by His written Word, the Bible. All one has to do is read the Bible, and follow the instructions of the Bible. Just as we have rules in our home for our children to follow, God has rules for those that will live in His kingdom to follow. We just can’t do, say and go anywhere and be submitted to God’s instructions. As His children, we have to follow the instructions of His household rules.

There is not a person God hates, no matter what he or she has done or is doing, but as an earthly father discipline their child when they have been disobedience, so does our heavenly Father discipline His children. The wages of sin is death, that’s spiritual death as well as physical death. One can practice sin so long until it no longer bother their conscience, and they continue to go deeper and deeper into sin. No matter how long one has been practicing and no matter how deep they have gotten themselves into sin, God gave His only Son for the sins for humanity, all one has to do is confess their sins, ask for forgiveness and ask the Son to be their Savior.

We’re living out the prophecy in the Bible, with everything that is happening, the worse has not come. In order to be in safety, one’s hope and faith must be in their Creator. There is nothing that happening that became a surprise to God, neither is it greater than God! Whether we live or whether we die we have to answer to God for how we lived our lives. Our answer and hope are in His Son! Live to please God, live to have a resting place without the torment, there is life after death!
