God’s Way

And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God ( Romans 12:2).

The will of God is for every believer to have the mind of Christ and the heart of God. Jesus had a mindset, and it was to please the Father no matter what would come His way.  He was determined to please the Father. We should have the same mindset as Jesus, then we will please the Father.

God has given us instructions on how to live the life He has given us, and many times people sanction their righteousness by what they do or don’t do. What appears to be righteousness in their eyes is conflicting with the Word of God, because our way is not God’s way, and He will never change His Word to support our way of thinking. This is why He has instructed us to let our minds be transformed (And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable, and perfect will of God – Romans 12:2).  Evidently, our thinking is not in line with the Word of God for Him to speak through Apostle Paul to instruct us that our minds need to be renewed.  How do we get our minds renewed by reading the Bible? It’s the Word of God that instructs, corrects, and edifies. God didn’t allow the Bible to be translated for it to collect dust. It’s in our best interest if want to enter into heaven and have desires to please the Father.

In order to live according to the Word o God, His Word must be in our memory to recall what He has instructed us to do. Secondly, after reading the Word of God there must be a submission to what the instructions have given us. To reject the Word is to reject Jesus because Jesus is the Word (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God – John 1:1).

Our righteousness comes by our accepting Jesus as our Savior as our Lord, and following the instruction, He has given us through His written Word. It’s our responsibility as Christians, to take time out to hear what our Father is instructing us to do. Many times people pray and they will say God hasn’t answered their prayer, the prayer was answered, but they didn’t follow the instructions or they don’t have a regular prayer life to be able to discern the voice of God.

We cannot live according to the majority and expect to have fellowship with God. God is holy,  there’s a difference between Christianity and sanctification.  Every person who professes to be a Christian should be sanctified.  Sanctification, only means the individual has purposed in their hearts to follow the instructions of the Word of God.  Many want to accept the blessing, but they don’t want to follow the instructions of the One who gives the blessings. God will bless the unbeliever just as He will bless the believer, the difference is, if the believer follows the instructions of their Father they will receive blessings here and will enter into heaven whereas the unbeliever will receive blessings here, but will live eternity in Hell (And there shall no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life – Revelation 21:27).  Worketh abominations are everything opposite of what God has instructed us in His Word.

Don’t attend church and still go to Hell because you will not follow the instructions of the Word of God. Read the Bible for yourself, many ministers are teaching blessings, but they are leaving out the words disobedient, many are teaching, saved, and always which is contradictory to the Bible. One can be saved, and walk away from God if they return they will have to rededicate themselves to God and submit to His instructions through His written Word.  No one enters into heaven without submitting to God’s instructions; it’s God’s way or no way!

We must know the Word of God in order to live according to His Word. If one never takes time to read the Word of God until they are in trouble and they are trying to comfort themselves is the wrong way of trying to fellowship with God. God is not Santa Clause, He’s not bringing and giving presents because we have been so good, it’s God’s nature to love and bless His children, but He also chastised those He loves when they are disobedient. Some issues and situations people are in are because of their disobedience to God as well as their parents. Godly parents are going to instruct their children in the way of the Lord, it’s their responsibility as parents. When the children disobey the parents, they are also disobeying the instructions God has given the child (Children, obey your parents into in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which the first commandment with promise – Ephesians 6:1).

The Bible is our instructions on how to live a life that will be pleasing to God. It teaches the believer in wisdom and knowledge of life issues, parenting, marriage, business. How to avoid Satan’s influences, how to forgive in order to receive forgiveness. What we need in life God has given the instructions in His written Word.  Allow His Word to be engrafted upon your heart and mind, then will you be able to do it God’s way and not your way!
