Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1st John 4:4).

Much evil is being committed in the world because the god of this world is the author of it. While so many people go day to day ignoring the presence of evil among us; Satan has convinced some people there is no God or Devil because they have rejected the Word of God. Then it’s those playing church, with no sensitivity to the spirit realm.Satan rather than God is leading many in the church community because they fail to submit themselves to the instructions He has given through His written Word. Just as good exists so does evil, when you listen to the media, read the newspaper, or word of mouth the majority of the news is bad. What we usually hear and see is nothing that would promote happiness or joy.

If your trust is not in the God who created the world (people) you can easily be frightened of what you see and hear, but God hasn’t given us the spirit of fear; fear comes from Satan. We have to acknowledge evil does exist, but it’s not greater than God. God has promised, that His angels are encamped around those who love Him, Hand is eyes are upon the righteous, When we’re dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, we shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Dwelling in the secret place, means you have a relationship with God; He talks to you and you converse with Him. God wants us to trust in Him, He instructed the believer not to be afraid of the terror by night; nor the arrow that flies by day. He’s informing the believer it shall come, but it will not enter our dwelling.

We cannot be afraid of what people will do to us because when we do, we’re making people greater than God. When we place our hope in the Lord, He strengthens our hearts. Just as in the natural army, you can’t be fearful, it’s the same thing spiritually. You cannot be afraid of people or Satanic influence. God didn’t give His Son just for our salvation, it was for our healing, our protection, deliverance and provision, and everything we need in this life to survive and to be successful.

The term salvation indicates our hearts have been changed to believe in righteousness, accepting Jesus as our Savior, we believe and accept His death for our life. This comes from faith. Benefits come with salvation, we’re being saved from the habits and dominion of sin in this life. We’re being protected by God Himself and His angels. Whatever you may be going through God is powerful enough to sustain you and bring you out when you place your trust in Him.

There is nowhere we can go and God will not see us. There is nothing we can get ourselves into that He can’t deliver when we have a desire to be delivered. God poured a portion of Himself into our physical being when we received the Holy Spirit. Everywhere we go, He goes! The God we serve is Greater than what see, hear, or feel in this life. Allow Him to be God in your life and He will show you who the Greater One!
