To everything there is a season, a time for every person under heaven – Ecclesiastes 3:1.
We live in a world that is constantly changing. The events of time and conditions of human life are vastly different from one another, and we’re continually passing and repassing between them.
There are seasons of happiness and dread, but wherever we’re in, the Lord is there to walk us through it. The Lord said He would never leave us or forsake us. No matter what you may be facing the Lord is there to walk you through it.
Naturally, we have seasons of fall, winter, spring, and summer; in each of these seasons the weather changes, it’s not the same. Just as God has a plan for each season in the natural, He also has a plan for His people through the seasons they pass through to bring them closer to Him and in His image.
No matter how good or bad the season may be, we will not dwell there forever, we’re passing through to get to the next season in our life. Life is like a book; in each stage of life there is a chapter, then there will be an end.
Although there are many problems we face that seem to contradict God’s plan, these should not be barriers to believing in Him, but rather opportunities to discover that, without God, life’s problems have no lasting solutions.
God is the God that makes the impossible, possible. Timing is important, and all experiences are appropriate at certain times. There is nothing that goes on or comes into our lives that God is not aware of. Some problems that have occurred in our life, we were the author of it, and not God.
God has a perfect plan for our life, all we have to do is to be at peace in the seasons we’re in, if not, this will lead to despair, rebellion, depression, or moving ahead without His advice. Our hearts must be fixed like Job, no matter what season we’re in, we will place our trust and confidence in God, knowing His thoughts towards us are not evil, but good to bring us to an expected end!
God promised no good thing would He withhold from them that walk uprightly before Him. He has promised, delight thyself in the Lord and He would give you the desires of your heart. He has promised, if we abide in His Word and His Word abide in us, we can ask what we will and it will be done unto us.
What you may be going through has an expiration date; God knows exactly what you can or can’t take and He will never put more on you than you can bear. In our afflictions and circumstances, we grow spiritually because we know if God allows it, then it will work together for our good!
Put your armor on, fight the good fight of faith, and know that you are more than a conqueror, you will get through whatever you’re going through and come out smelling like a rose!
