To him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins – Acts 10:43.
In order to receive remission of sins, one has to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. With the heart, one believes and with the mouth, confession is made into salvation. One is not saved by his mouth’s confession, but rather, the mouth testifies readily of the grace of God in Christ which has been received by faith.
