Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new – 1st Corinthians 5:17.
A Christian should live a holy life that reflects the nature of God, who saved him or her. They should separate themselves from actions, influences, or people that will contaminate them through their behavior and ungodly influences. Christians should apply the Biblical principals of separation and avoid what is prohibited by the written Word of God, but how can one adhere to what they don’t know? Whether one knows or not, he or she will be judged by how they lived their lives. God gave us His written instructions through the Bible, its the responsibility of every professing Christian to read and study it.
When a person truly accepts salvation he or she is changed in their heart which will bring about a change in their spirit, behavior, and character. No longer will they use profanity, no longer will they have hatred and envy. When the heart and spirit are changed the person is revolving into the image of their Creator. When salvation is truly accepted immediately there will be a change in the heart and spirit and although the person can’t see the change, they can feel the change inwardly. As they continue to give themselves to God the more they will feel Him and hear Him.
No longer will they be lead by their desires, but they will be lead by the Spirit of God. The only way we can serve God is in spirit and in truth. When people are born of the Spirit they can commune with God anywhere. Spirit is the opposite of what is material and earthly. Jesus makes worship a matter of the heart. What’s in the heart will eventually speak through the mouth and behavior of the person. Truth is what is in harmony with the nature and will of God. It is the opposite of all that is false.
The Fruit of the Spirit should be manifesting through those who profess to be Christians, love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. This Fruit is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that can only be produced by God! For this fruit to develop, all nine aspects of the fruit of the Spirit must mature. As one yield themselves to the instructions of the Word of God the more these fruits will mature until it will be no more I but the Christ that lives within them.
If a Christian is doing and saying the same thing as a non-believer he or she has not truly given themselves to God, when His Spirit comes within a person He makes changes the person will no more think or act the same. One that has truly become a Christians can’t go weeks and months without praying and reading God’s Word. He or she is willing to submit to what the written Word of God is instructing.
A true Christian loves at all times, during the good the bad and the ugly. Whatever is going on in their lives will not be taken out on their brother or sister. Fault-find and criticizing is not in them; when they are persecuted because of righteousness they will not strike back, but they will pray for the individual and allow God to handle them. They forgive and release those who have harmed or offended them. Profanity is not in their vocabulary neither is fornication and adultery.
When one has truly given themselves to God and His Son they don’t have to tell anyone. Those that know them will see and hear the change. The presence of God will be in the individual to make them more in the image of Him. Take time to check yourself with the Word of God; every Christian will find themselves somewhere in the Bible where they will need improvement. We don’t get perfected until God’s breath leaves our body and we go home to be with the Lord. In the meantime, while we’re here, we are lining ourselves with the Word of God. What He says to do, we do, what He says don’t do we don’t.
We fellowship with Him in prayer and reading His Word. He speaks to us through His Word. This is sowing into our spirit which means to live by His enabling help in accord with the Spirit’s prompting and leading, thus cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit. We as Christians don’t act like the non-believer neither do we speak as the non-believer. The more we stay in contact with the Father the more we will become more like Him and His Son. When He looks upon us, He wants to see the reflection of His Son manifesting through us.

Captive By The World
And God said unto Moses, I AM that I AM: And He said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you – Exodus 3:14.
The One who spoke with Moses declared Himself to be the Eternal One – Uncaused and Independent. Only the Creator of all things can call Himself the I AM in the absolute sense; all other creatures are in debt to Him for their existence. In addition, God the Creator declares His relationship with the people of Israel. Read More

Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father as we come before you today, we first ask you to forgive us of any sin or sins we may have committed against You. Show us where we have sinned so we can repent of our sins and ask for forgiveness. If we have hurt someone in any form, we ask for Your forgiveness, help us to know what we have done and who we have done it to so that we can ask them forgiveness.
Father, look upon the land and have mercy! Touch the minds and hearts of Your people, remove the anger and the fear. Heal the broken heart and the broken spirit. Join families back together, remove the disunity and the offenses. We ask for Your protection and Your provisions for our families and neighbors.
Help us to place our faith in You and not what we’re hearing and seeing. Help us to be a prepared people for the coming of Your Son. As the Bible is unfolding, let us not fear or withdraw ourselves from You. Help us to pray like never before, help us to fast, and submit ourselves to be broken before You.
All our help comes from You! Let us not look to man because he can’t help us, but Your Word has promised, he that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! We call upon the name of Jesus to save us from COVID -19, save us from all other viruses and plagues. Save us from those whose hearts Satan is using to bring forth hatred, and taking what is not theirs. Let Your angels be encamped around about those who love You and reverence You.
Look upon the fools that have said in their heart there is no God. Have mercy upon them, keep your protection around them and their loved ones. Father the world is in confusion and devastation, send forth help from Your throne room, help us, deliver us, and make us a people that will worship You in spirit and in truth.
