The Eyes of the Lord

For His eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all his goings. There is no darkness nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves Job 34:21-22.

God is omniscient and can discover that which is most secret. As the strongest can’t oppose His arms, so the most subtle can’t escape His eyes; and therefore, if some are punished either more or less than we think they should be, instead of quarreling with God, it becomes us to realize He’s the judge and He has the final say. Love

A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another as I have loved you that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another – John 13:34-35.

Most people in the faith community today are not missing it in their confessions or knowing what the Word of God says. They are not missing it in believing the Word, but they are missing it by not knowing how to walk in love. When we see one of our sisters or brothers appearing to have fallen into sin rather than showing love not condoning the sin, but coming to them in love to restore.

In order to restore a sister or brother, it must be according to the Word of God (Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted – Galatians 6:1). We are the children of God, we have been covered with the blood of Jesus and God the Father wants us to restore those overtaken in a fault and to do that in a spirit of meekness or humility.

The first thing most people want to do when they hear of somebody being overtaken in a fault is to reach for the phone call or text. They don’t want to cover that fault with love and silence or restore the individual, they want to talk about his or her fault. The Bible indicates that love beareth all things; love not only hides the sins and evil of others but it refuses to speak of them.

In order to maintain your faith walk, we must put down our carnal nature; the secret is allowing the love of God to work within our heart and spirit. Align ourselves with the Word of God. Love restores, it doesn’t destroy.

Fighting the Unseen

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. And having a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled – 2nd Corinthians 10:4-6.

Christians are in a spiritual war and the majority of professing Christians have no idea they are in a war. Anytime we’re influenced to do something, say something or go where the Word of God has instructed us not to do then we’re being under the influence and attack of evil spirits. Sadly, to say most Christians don’t believe in demonic spirits and that’s why they are so easily influenced by them. Satan nor his co-host is going to come to you dressed in a red suit or tell you “I’m the Adversary”.

Just as the Father uses humans to work through so does Satan. God anoints His people to work for Him, and Satan anoints his people to work for him. Satan uses people and the thoughts that flood our minds. Before an action is carried out, it becomes a thought. The very thought that there is no God is an influence of Satan. Hatred is an influence of demonic spirits to hurt or harm someone physically or through spoken words is an influence of demonic spirits.

To be empowered to fight the unseen we must be yielded to the Spirit of God. We can’t serve and worship God on Sunday and the rest of the week we’re worshiping and serving Satan. Some may say I don’t worship or serve Satan, well anytime you live contradictory to the instructions of the Word of God then you have yielded yourself to Satan. One of Satan’s influences is PRIDE! Many that have titles think their more than the ones that don’t carry a title. A title doesn’t make you, the submission to carry out what the title means does, we can’t approve ourselves, its God that does the commending (For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but who the Lord commendeth – 2nd Corinthians 10:18).

As Christians, we should have a meek and humble spirit. The world sees this as a push-over, but in the eyes of God, its a characteristic of His Son. To be humble is a consciousness of one’s shortcomings, modest; keeping in mind were just the vessel God uses to manifest Himself through. When a thought comes to mind that you’re better than someone else, it needs to be attacked with the Word of God and bring it and you to the submission to the Word of God, it’s demonic and it needs to be dealt with.

Those who can always find something wrong with the church, the pastor, the sisters and brothers are being influenced by a demonic spirit to fault-find and criticize. Pray for the pastor, pray for the sister or brother you feel like is not doing or saying what you think they should be. You can always leave the church if your that dissatisfied with it, but wherever you attend you will do the same thing there because you’re being influenced by demonic spirits. God has empowered His people to deal with demonic spirits, the Name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus and the Word of God!

In order to fight demonic spirits, you must first deal with the ones that are influencing you then you can fight spiritually against the attack in other people’s lives. Many of today’s Christians are like the children of Israel, God sent godly men to instruct them of the ways of their God who they said they served but didn’t want to follow the instructions given. The Bible is our mirror and we will find ourselves in it; either were living according to the Word of God or were not. The fight begin when you first accepted salvation truthfully and not by emotions what you felt at the time you heard the Word.

If you have dedicated yourself completely to God and His Word then you’re are at war with unseen forces; you volunteered to be in the war when you accepted salvation. Take time to read and study the Word of God, line yourself with His instructions and God will empower you to fight against any demonic influences, coming out with the victory because you choose to serve God and not be influenced by what Satan has to offer.
