Man’s Thoughts

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death – Proverbs 14:12

The ” way that seemeth right” may offer many options and require few sacrifices. Easy choices, however should make us take a second look at the options. Is this solution attractive because it allows me to be lazy? Because it doesn’t ask me to change my life-style? Because it requires no moral restraints? The right choice often requires hard work and self-sacrifice. We shouldn’t be enticed by apparent shortcuts that seem right, but end in death.

The military, government offices and employers have a mission statement. Those whose are employed by either one these offices must abide by the mission statement and their code of conducts if they want to be a part of the organization. There is no in between of keeping the instructions, all rules and regulations must be adhere to by all employees or they will be released from their position. Believers have an office with God, we’re called the Ambassador of Jesus Christ. How are we representing ourselves as Ambassadors, as people see and hear us, can we be seen as people of God or just someone who is religious?

We as Christians must be in unity (Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethern to dwell together in unity – Psalm 133:1). We must not show partiality towards anyone (But if ye have respect {partiality} to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced {convicted} of the law as transgressors – James 2:9).  We as Christians must live according to the words of God (Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world – James 1:27). If we live any other way than what God has instructed according to His word, we’re living in sin, take time read the Bible, study the word of God to get godly wisdom and knowledge, then can we come before God with boldness, knowing He will hear our prayers and answer them.
