Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise – Hebrews 10:35-36
A promise is something that shouldn’t be broken, and God is the only one that will always keep His promise.
Have you ever made a promise, but didn’t keep it? It wasn’t that you didn’t want to, for whatever reason, you weren’t able to keep it. God is not like that, whatever He has said whether if it was through His written word or a word He has spoken to your spirit, He will fulfill the promise.
The promise may not be fulfilled in the time we thought it would be. If we hold on to His word, don’t lose faith. When we do this, be like the Centurion and tell the Lord, “I believe, but help my unbelief”, we shall receive the promises of God.
