For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him – Isaiah 64:4
Waiting can be tiresome. Sometimes in our waiting we may lose faith, but if we hold on and wait there will be a change. Those who wait will reap the benefits of their waiting allowing God to be God in their circumstance.
The God we serve is sovereign, He’s the chief, greater than any other power, He’s independent of all others. He’s omnipotent, having unlimited power and authority, He’s omnipresent, present in all places at the same time. He’s omniscient, knowing all things, and He is the Amen!
There is nothing you or I can go through and can’t come out with the victory, if we’re willing to wait until God brings us out of our circumstances and troubles. It’s not that God has forgotten or He can’t bring us out, He’s trying to work something in us, and place more of Him in us.
He wants us to be steadfast seeking Him no matter what is going on in our lives. We can’t allow what’s going on in our life to become our god. Whatever we think on the most will become our god. If it’s doubt, it will be your god. If it’s fear, it will be your god.
If it’s faith, it will be your God!
