Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing (deceiving) spirits, and doctrine of devils – 1st Timothy 4:1 

Satan deceives people by offering a cleaver imitation of the real thing. False teachers give rules and regulations that denies the person’s appearance, but the heart hasn’t been changed. Cults and religions are established by misinterpretation of the Bible as well as individuals being influenced by evil spirits to reject the true teaching of the Bible.

Demons are real, they are fallen angels who rebelled against God in heaven and were cast out of His presence. Satan uses subtlety to deceive people, he’s not coming as Satan, but an imitation of good to deceive people. The Bible has instructed the believer that Satan transformed himself as an angel of light (And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light – 2nd Corinthians 11:14). He’s deceptive and preys on individuals that are not familiar with the Bible, or not knowing their authority over him through Jesus Christ. Reading and studying the Bible equips the believer to know who they’re fighting and what they’re fighting against; and it assists the believer not to be deceived by Satan or his ministers.

Satan has ministers (Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the minister of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works – 2nd Corinthians 11:15). Satan’s ministers use traditions, money, happiness, condoning “do what you want to do and still be saved”. Knowing the word of God will eliminate many from being deceived into cults and religions that will eventually send them to hell because of their rejection of the truth. In the beginning was the word and at the end it will be the word of God that will give our final destination whether we enter heaven or hell. It’s our responsibility to know the word of God and to follow its instructions. Don’t be deceived, take time to get acquainted with the word of God.
