He That Waiteth

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God beside thee, what He hath prepared for him that waitheth for Him – Isaiah 64:4, 1st Corinthians 2:9

The mind can’t fathom the things God have in store for us on earth as well as the new Jerusalem. We’re sojourning here on earth, earth is not our home, but as we journey here, we go through trials and tribulations, encounter disappointments and hurts. If we continue in the faith, not staggering at the promise, not losing our prayer life, not losing our praise, not losing our submission to the word of God, we shall receive the blessings of the Lord on earth as well as the world to come.

God has blessings for His people and it’s not just when we die. He has promised if we delight ourselves in Him, He would give us the desires of our heart. God doesn’t want us to continue to live a life of pain and regrets, needing and not having. God wants us to enjoy life here as well as the new heaven and earth that is coming for those who have committed themselves to His instructions.

Sometimes we have to wait for our blessings to be manifested, and realize that God heard our prayers when we first prayed; but we have an adversary that doesn’t want our prayers to be answered. Satan comes to rob, steal and kill what God has given us. Through the authority Jesus has given us to use His name to pray, to ask and to rebuke, we must fight to keep what God has given us and has in store for us. We do this by prayer, comittment and dedication to the word of God.  What God has for you is for you, no one can take what God has for you. Satan can’t take it unless we willingly give it to him. Wait on God, have faith in Him and receive abundantly and above!
