Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities (weakness): for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered – Romans 8:26

Believers are not left to their own resources to cope with problems, when we don’t know the right words to pray or say, the Holy Spirit will intervene and will begin to pray the exact words or prayer that is needed for the situation or circumstances.

The Holy Spirit is a gift from God and every believer needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit assists us in our spiritual growth in order for the Fruit and the Gifts of the Spirit to be manifested in our life. The Holy Spirit helps us to communicate with God, and He also help us to be sensitive to His Spirit. Sometimes when going through hardship and other crucial situations, we don’t know what to pray for. When we continue to pray with an understanding, the Holy Spirit will begin to pray in us for what’s needed to be prayed for. When the Holy Spirit begins to pray, we don’t understand what we’re saying unless He gives us the interpretation of what we’re saying.

When He prays sometimes it’s also with groaning and mourning, but the Spirit itself knows what we’re praying. To get the results we need from our prayers, we need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to pray through us to the Father. Praying in the Holy Spirit also builds our faith (But, ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost – Jude:1:20).
