In Due Season

To everything there is a season, a time for every person under heaven – Ecclesiastes 3:1

We live in a world that is constantly changing. The events of time and conditions of human life, are vastly different from one another, and we’re continually passing and repassing between them. There are seasons of happiness as well as seasons of dread, but wherever season we’re in, the Lord is there to walk us through it.

Naturally, we have seasons of fall, winter, spring, and summer; in each of these seasons the weather changes, it’s not the same. Just as God has a plan for each season in the natural, He also has a plan for His people through the seasons they pass through. No matter how good or bad the season maybe, we will not dwell there forever, we’re passing through to get to the next season in our life. Life is like a book, and in each stage of life there is a chapter, then there will be an end.

Although there are many problems we face that seems to contradict God’s plan, these should not be barriers to believing in Him, but rather opportunities to discover that, without God, life’s problems have no lasting solutions. God is the God that makes the impossible, possible. Timing is important, and all experiences are appropriate at certain times. There is nothing that goes on or come into our life that God is not aware of it. Some problems that have occurred in our life, we were the author of it, and not God.

God has a perfect plan for our life, all we have to do is to be at peace in the seasons we’re in, if not, this will lead to despair, rebellion, depression, or moving ahead without His advice. Our hearts must be fixed like Job, no matter what season we’re in, we will place our trust and confidence in God, knowing His thoughts towards us is not evil, but good to bring us to an expected end!
