In Order To Receive Forgiveness
And when you stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught (anything) against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses -Mark 11:25.
Jesus tells us to forgive because unforgiveness will hinder our prayers. Unforgiveness hinders our prayer life because it limits our fellowship with God. By walking in unforgiveness, we’re not walking in love as God has commanded. Therefore, when we don’t forgive, we’re walking in disobedience; and it will put us out of position to receive from God. Unforgiveness will stand between us and God to keep our blessings from getting to us. Unforgiveness will stop our prosperity, it will also bring in sickness, disease, and emotional disorders. Resentment and unforgiveness don’t just go away, we have to repent of them. As we confess our sins, God will forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness as we confess and draw closer to Him. Unforgiveness is not easy to get rid of as saying it. Saying it and doing it are two different things.
We must pray and confess our fault and ask God to help us to forgive. We must confess and forgive until it’s a part of our memory and penetrates in our heart. Eventually, forgiveness will come and we will be healed, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. Unforgiveness can cause spiritual bankruptcy, prayer life stops, spiritual gifts became dormant, joy and peace will leave. Forgive and be restored!
