The Bible is one book that has lasted through scrutiny, misinterpretation, less talked about, and less read, but the only book that can change lives if read with faith and a heart that is willing to submit to its instructions. Traditions and hearts that have not been regenerated by the Holy Spirit bring about religion. Religion is a form of spirituality that doesn’t change the heart and desires of the individual, religion is a belief in and worship of God or gods.
Although the Jewish nations were chosen as God’s chosen people, God never forsook other nationalities, as they submitted themselves to God’s instructions. They were known as Sojourner’s indicating the person or persons was not a native member of the community in which he or she resided. Certain rights were held by Sojourners as well as Israelites, including the right to the Sabbath rest, rights for a fair trial, gleaning of fields and vineyards alongside other advantaged people. Sojourners were obligated to observe the feasts, sacrifices, and prohibitions associated with Israelites religion; they were to be regarded as nearly equivalent to native Israelites.
Moses was the spoke-person for God when the children of Israel were set free from the Egyptians, they were given instructions on how to live and conduct themselves as the people of God. After Moses died, Joshua became their spiritual leader. Ever since the beginning of mankind God has always instructed His people through His angel, messenger, and His written Word. Centuries since then the instructions have been placed in book-form rather than written on papyrus. Instructions are given to follow and to comply too.
The chaos that’s in the world is because people have forsaken God and His instructions. Whenever the children of Israel continued to forsake God, He allowed their enemy to take them in bondage. Many are in bondage of hatred, violence, murder, molestation, and lust just to name a few. God is the only One who can change a persons’ heart. His written Word gives information about Him and what we can expect of Him as well as what He expects out of His people.
Trust, trusted, trustedst, trustest, trusteth and pray, prayed, prayer, prayers, prayest, prayeth, praying are key Words the Bible speaks about. In order to see a change in the world, the Bible must be read as well as submitted to. What’s going on in the world politicians, and walk-a-thons can’t do anything about it, Global warming is the prophecy of the Bible coming into manifestation. The only way to know what is really happening is to know God and know His Word. Trust, prayer, and submissions to His Word cause the Hand of God to move in the behalf of His people.
Just as Jesus ascended to heaven, He’s also returning for His people, the church which is the body of Christ. Before His return, the Bible indicates that nations will be against nations (For nations shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows-Matthew 24:7-8). The prophecies of the Bible will occur, the good and the bad. Good for those who submit themselves to God’s written instructions and bad for those who rejected Him and His Word.
Many have excepted God, and Jesus as the Son of God who died for the sins of the world, but they serve Him as the children of Israel served Him, mixing unrighteousness with righteousness. Ungodliness with godliness when His written instructions say don’t serve the gods of the world, don’t do as they do (Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you 2nd Corinthians 6:17). God has given His people a guideline to follow and there is no other way than the one He has given.
Want to conquer Satan, submit yourselves to God (Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you-James 4:7.
