Don’t Loose Your Faith – Part 3

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen – Hebrews 11:1

Isn’t it funny how we can get up to prepare ourselves to go to work and have faith our car will start, or have faith that once we get to work we will be employed, but don’t have the faith that God will answer our prayers?

The same faith we have in our cars and place of employment, we should have the same faith or more in the God we serve. When we pray, we must believe that God heard and will answer our prayer because without faith we cannot please God (But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him – Hebrews 11:6). So there is a possibility, if God is not pleased, the prayer may not be answered.

Moses was called from God to delivery His people from Pharaoh and Egypt which could be Satan and sin. Although he lived in Pharaoh’s house, he didn’t have a materialistic need. When he became mature in the faith, he no longer wanted to be called the son of Pharaoh nor live in Pharaoh’s house, but he decided to suffer affliction with the people of God (Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season – Hebrews 11:25).

We can’t say sin doesn’t come with pleasures for the flesh, but it also comes with consequences. According to the word of God, the wages of sin is death; that can be spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and with our  relationship with God. Sin can cause a decline in our  relationship with our spouse and family, as well as our finances.

As Christians we are mandated by God to deliver His people from the bondage of Satan and sin. God has given us the power through His Son, and the name of His Son to deliver the lost. Living in the anointing will also cause one to suffer. Salvation is free, but to receive the anointing will cost us.

People are in bondage, in need of hope and a Savior, and we have the answer to their needs, but we can’t exhibit the power of God if were practicing sin ourselves. To be used by God, we have to be submitted to Him and His word. God will move in our churches the same way He moved in Biblical times, if we welcome Him to move in the midst of us and present ourselves as living sacrifices. When the Spirit of God moves in the sanctuary, He will give peace to a trouble mind, faith restored, bodies healed. Joy and strength will be given, but someone has to be willing to sacrifice to suffer to be a blessing to others. God is not interested in titles, He’s looking for people He can use any time, anywhere, and any place. Don’t lose your faith, seek to please God and not a title, be willing to be used by God.
