Prayer of Decree
And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (lose heart) Luke 18:1
Prayer is our communication with God, and through prayer it will make us sensitive to the voice and the Spirit of God. Prayer of declaration are statements of faith, and have the power to create, to call into being, to cast out and to shift things. Declaration prayers aren’t words directed to God, but directed at principalities and strongholds.
Father in the name of Jesus, I ask and pray, I believe and decree in Jesus name that as long as there is life and breath in me, the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon me and in me the spirit of wisdom, and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, and the spirit of knowledge. I ask that as Your Spirit rests upon me, it will make me of a quick understanding because You Lord, have anointed and qualified me to minister the gospel to the meek, the poor, the wealthy and the afflicted.
You have sent me to bind up and heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the eyes of the prison for those who are bound. I shall be called the priest of the Lord, people will speak of me as the minister of God and I shall eat the wealth of the nations and the glory, praise and honor shall be the Lord’s. I pray and believe, and decree that no weapon formed against me, it will not, it shall not prosper against me, and any tongue that may rise against me in judgement shall be shown to be in the wrong.
I ask in Jesus name as long as there is life and breath in me, help me to hold fast and follow the pattern of wholesome and sound teaching in all faith and love which is for us in Christ Jesus. Help me to guard and keep with the greatest love the precious and excellent adapted Truth which as been entrusted to me by the Holy Spirit who makes His home in me. Father I ask and pray, believe and decree that each and every day, freedom of utterance is given to me, that I will open mouth boldly and courageously as I ought to do. I will speak up as I ought to speak up when the need arises, and when I speak up it will be with loving kindness, wisdom, knowledge and understanding that comes from my heavenly Father.
Father I ask in Jesus name, I believe and decree that each and every day, freedom of utterance is given to me that I will open my mouth boldly and courageously as I ought to do to get the gospel to Your people. Thank You Lord for the added strength which comes super-humanly that You have given me, Amen.
