Be merciful unto me, O God be merciful unto me; for my soul trusteth in thee: yea in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge until these calamities be overpast – Psalm 57:1.

No matter what is going on in our life or in the world there is a safe place. It doesn’t matter if the storms of life rage all around you, you can be sheltered in protection and peace when God is your Refuge. Too many times people make circumstances and situations their god rather than making God be God over every circumstance and situation.

A “Refuge” is a place that provides shelter or protection from danger or distress. It’s a safe haven one can turn to in times of difficulty. The world is facing a crisis, a pandemic, where thousands or maybe even millions may die. Whether we live or whether we die, we belong to God (For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die we are the Lord’s – Romans 14:8). No one knows when or where their time of death will be, but one thing is for sure, everyone has been appointed a time to be born and a time to die. Whether one believes in God or not, He’s still God and every one of us will have to answer to Him.

God is so loving and merciful toward those that ignore Him as God, He will protect them just as He protects those who place their faith in Him. The problem is although God will keep them safe and protect them when it’s their appointed time to die, they will have to answer to Him for their rejection of His salvation through His Son. Why one would one play Russian Roulette with their life when salvation is free; all one have to do is believe and accept it. Once salvation is accepted, the Lord will empower the believer to live according to His Word.

The Bible prophecy speaks about all the things that will be happening in the world before the return of Jesus, we’re living in the book of Revelation, and what God has foretold will come to pass whether one believes or not. No one can stop the prophecy from happening neither can one stop the return of Jesus or death, the best place to be is in the safety of the Almighty for salvation.

There is life after death, and if one miss heaven and enter into hell there is no coming back from it, where torment will be continually and the worms will continue to move throughout the body and the person is aware of it because the spirit doesn’t die (Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched – Mark 9:44). There will be a fire that’s continual, there will be no way of escaping the fire or the worms!

The Father has given everyone a way of escape through the salvation of His Son, Jesus, there is no other name one can be saved by (Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved – Acts 4:12). Only by placing faith in the historical Jesus, the One who came, died and was raised from the dead, who also will have a second coming to earth can a person be saved. Everyone has a choice where they will spend eternity!
