Now there are diversities (various kinds) of gifts, but the same Spirit.  And there are differences of administrations (ministries), but it is the same Lord. and there are diversities of operations (activities), but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal                     1st Corinthians 12:4-7.

Gifts of healing is supernatural, man has no control over who or who will not be healed. The Spirit distributes to everyone as He will. We must be content with our gift and share it as the Spirit leads us. All are to minister to one another, and promote the good of the body in general.

The gifts of healing are for the supernatural healing of disease and for people with infirmity without natural means of any other source.  These gifts have nothing to do with medical science or human learning. All healing is done by God, but the difference is the channel. Yes, God will use medical doctors to heal through medicine and surgery, but this is not the gifts of healing.

Jesus gave authority to His disciples (Behold, I give unto you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not; that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice because your name are written in heaven – Luke 10:19-20).  Some would say this was just for the chosen disciples of that time, the Bible was written for us to know and receive what God has given His people to fight in a spiritual war. We’re spiritual beings, we can’t fight spirit with flesh, but we must fight through the Spirit of God that lives within us. This is why we have been instructed to put on the whole armor of God so when we believe the instructions and fight by the instructions then will God manifest Himself through us to deliver ourselves and others from the strongholds of Satan and his co-host.

Healing is for today’s believers just as it was in the Biblical days. Gifts are for the believers, this is why the Apostle Paul wrote about the different gifts of the Spirit so that the believer will recognize the gift or gifts God has given them. Just as we use faith to receive salvation, we must also have faith for the gifts to operate. Salvation wasn’t just for the disciples of Old and New Testament, but it’s for everyone that will accept the gift of salvation and so it is with the gifts of the Spirit as He administers to the body of Christ.

The gifts of the Spirit is being manifested in churches and in individuals who believe the Word of God and is willingly accepting the gift that has been given them to be used to bless the body of Christ and manifesting the glory of God on earth. Every gift God has given the body of Christ should be manifested in the church, it’s not by denomination, but by the Spirit. There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. These gifts are for the body of Christ to be used as they were in the Biblical days, God does not change nor does His Word.
