False Teachers

Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves – Matthew 7:15.

False teachers are leading many of God’s people astray from the doctrine of the Gospel. The reason is that many Christians do not read, study, or know the Word of God.

False teachers prey on those who are unfamiliar with the Word, and they are so subtle that sometimes they even deceive those who are familiar with the Word of God, until the Holy Spirit exposes their false teachings. It is crucial for Christians to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to know the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit is not just for speaking in another tongue, but He gives you wisdom, discernment, and teaches you how to pray. It is the Holy Spirit that energizes the Fruit of the Spirit to be manifested. It’s a seal that indicates we are true children of God.

Although false teachers teach false doctrines, God will hold Christians responsible for living according to their teachings because He has given us His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us, and His written Word to know Him and follow His instructions.

A false teacher teaches about gaining, whether it’s money, houses, cars, or teaching everyone should be prosperous. This is not the gospel of Jesus Christ; this is the doctrine of the world. Everyone is not going to be prosperous or healed. Jesus said we will always have the poor among us. Some people have died believing in God for their healing. They didn’t get healed on this side, but they will be healed when they go to heaven.

People are sending and giving their money to these false teachers while they are losing their homes and cars. Yes, Jesus did teach that it is better to give than to receive, but He did not mean to neglect your responsibilities in your personal life.

We can’t buy blessings, blessings are given to those who obey the Scriptures, give their tithes and offerings. There are times God will place on our hearts to give more, but be led by the Spirit of God and not by someone influencing you to give.

False teachers and pastors have made pastors and teachers who genuinely live by the Word of God look like thieves and robbers. The world bundles everyone together like one bad apple in a bunch, making all of them bad.

God knows we have responsibilities, and we should be good stewards in paying those we owe. If you have a mortgage payment or a car of whatever the bill you owe, you don’t send your money and fall behind on your mortgage or lose your car because you sent the money you owed to pastors and teachers asking you to sow into their ministry.

People sow into these ministries to receive healing in their bodies or healing in their marriages. We can’t buy God’s blessings. God wants you to seek Him for what you need, not a pastor or teacher. Only God can heal you, only God can save your marriage, or whatever the case may be.

When a ministry primarily teaches about money rather than the Bible, it is clear that the minister is false; they are out for gain and not concerned with saving souls. There is a blessing in giving, but give to those ministries that are concerned about winning souls and teaching them how to live according to God’s written Word.

Don’t depend on pastors and teachers for what you need; God is the supplier of our every need. Pray and ask God for what you need and desire and stop depending on pastors and teachers that are being led by Satan and not God (And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works – 2nd Corinthians 11:14-15).

Know the Bible, and then you can discern by the Spirit of God whether or not the person is genuine or not. Genuine pastors and teachers teach God’s written Word for the edification and spiritual growth of God’s people. False teachers are wolves in sheep’s clothing.
