Esther 3:5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.

Mordecai was the guardian of Esther, who was selected to succeed Vashti as queen of Ahasuerus, king of Persia. Mordecai was an officer at the king’s court,  he sat at the king’s gate daily after Esther became queen. Be Established In God’s Word

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you – John 15:7

What does it mean to abide in Him and His Words to abide in you? It means to stay, sit, settle or dwell. It’s to wait, cease from doing it your way and depend on His will to be done. It is to have faith in His Word that no matter what is going on in your life, His Word supersede the issue or problem. But one can’t have faith in His Word if they don’t know His Word.  Read More

For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls – 1st Peter 2:25  Israel was a chosen people by God, a people He wanted to bestow His blessing upon. Abraham was the forefather of both the Jews and the Arabs, but prior to being chosen, he served and worshipped strange gods like his father and his family. When God chose him, he was instructed to leave his country, his father’s house and family, meaning his extended family. Staying too close with those who were practicing idolatry would have been tempting and most likely influenced Abraham to continue to live his old lifestyle.
