Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him, that knock it shall be opened (Mathew 7:7-8).
In the Christian community, you will sometimes hear, if you pray more than once for a thing, then you don’t have faith; this misleading information has made many stop contending with God until they receive an answer. In this Scripture, Jesus is telling us to be persistence in our pursuant of God. It’s not like God doesn’t hear our prayers, and it may get discouraging to continue to do right, praying consistently and not see tangible results, but that’s the time we need to continue to pursue Him.

Safe In God’s Love
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us – Romans 8:31.
Life brings issues and problems along with the different attacks from Satan. We also go through mountain and valley experiences to strengthen our faith in God. When things are going well, most people believe that God loves them, but when test and trials come they feel as though God does not love them or He doesn’t care about what they are going through. God’s love for His people is everlasting, it’s not just when things are going well but in the bad times as well.

Exercise
For bodily exercise profiteth little, but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come – 1st Timothy 4:8.
In our society, much emphasis is placed on physical fitness, but the Apostle Paul declared that spiritual health is even more important than physical health. One can be physically healthy, but spiritually dead. God’s desire for us is to be physically and spiritually healthy, but in order for us to obtain this, we must exercise. Our faith needs exercise just as much as our body and mind need to be exercised in order to obtain good health. It takes practice to maintain a good exercise regiment.
