Time to Pray
Heaven Father, God Almighty, we come before You in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We come with repenting hearts, we bow before You and ask for Your forgiveness for any sin or sins that we may have committed against You. Forgive us for being slothful in prayer, forgive us for having resentment in hearts. Oh God forgive us for every ungodly thought and behavior. We confess our sins before You and we ask it to be unto us as it is according to Your Word if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Ark

The Philistines fought against Israel and thirty thousand footmen died, those who survived fled into their tent and the ark of God was taken. Eli who was a prophet was sitting by the city gate anxiously awaiting news of the battle when he heard that the ark had been taken he fell from off his seat backward and his neck broke. When his daughter-in-law, Phinehas wife heard about her husband and her father-in-law was dead she went into labor. As she was giving birth, she named the child Ichabod meaning “Where Is the glory”.
