Rich In Spirit

There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing; there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches – Proverbs 13:7.

A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous (harsh) words stir up anger – Proverbs 15:1

Sluggard

The soul of the sluggard (lazy) desireth, and hath nothing, but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat (rich) Proverbs 13:4                                                                

People who desire to grow in the knowledge of God, will sacrifice time to read and study the Word of God. The sluggard will always have an excuse for why they aren’t growing spiritually.
